He stared at it a moment before saying, “it’s really fucking creepy…”
She pouted childishly, a little offended by his reaction. “He is not!” she protested, cradling the creature.
"It is… All big eyes and shit…." He…
Sollux watched her for a little while and tried to make another mound of sand for the castle, actually succeeding this time, “I did it!”
Madness. Psychopathic. OCD. Fear. Words. Numbers. Hate. Lies. These were the words sollux wrote on his right arm in thick black pen as he sat at a table in the library. He should be studying, doing something productive but his brain was working over drive, They where at…
Sollux, quickly rolled his sleeve down his arm and looked away, “it’s nothing…” He looked back at the blank paper he should have been writing on, then back at her, “what’s… Up?” He said trying to avoid getting angry and sparking something.
Her eyes softened, taking a seat next to Sollux. “I had’nt seen you in a while, like in the halls or anything. I was just going to make sure you were okay..” He obviously wasn’t, do she was going to stay until he was. She had seen a glimpse of some of the words scrawled on his forearm. She knew they werent happy words, that’s for sure.
Maybe he was depressed, or insecure, both? Feferi figured out any possibilities, most seeming quite a streach. She moved her arm, covering his hand with hers, meaning to be soothing.
Sollux smiled a little at her touch. He wanted to tell her the truth, but fear and their influence that made him swallow hard as he looked her in the eyes. “Sorry, I’ve been working some stuff out… Going to see my dad more often that’s all,” he said, smiling still even though he wanted to curl up and cry.
Feferi gave a tiny smile in return, moving to give him a quick hug. “Well, I hope it works out, I’ll have to meet ‘em sometime!” She explained
He inhaled sharply through his teeth, “that depends…” He said, tapping the fingers of his free hand, “you might see him at his funir-” he cut himself off, “wanna go do something else? Like not be here….”
Funeral? Her eyes widened as a hand came to her mouth. “My god, Sollux, I didn’t mean to-” She didnt finish her sentence, already starting a new one. “I didn’t know..” she trailed off, looking into his bi-colored eyes.
She didn’t really know what losing someone was like, she never had witnessed a death or had it impact her life. She never really knew her father, she had always assumed he was dead. But again, she didn’t even know who her father was. She felt so stupid, that was the least helpful thing ever, out of all the things she could have said.
Sollux mentally slapped himself for letting that slip, “it’s not… Happened yet… He just doesn’t like people seeing him in such a… State.” He quickly squeezed her hand, “can we go now….”
"Yeah! Right! Sorry." She rushed out, trying to lift the mood by not speaking about the topic anymore. "Where would you like to go?" She asked. A smile on her face. She was relieved that his parent had not passed on, but equally sad he was in a sickly state. She tried not to let that show through her facial expressions though.
“Someplace with lots of people talking very loudly…” He said, taking her hand for some kind of comfort. If they were in an area with lots of people, he could say he can’t really hear him over the people instead of not hearing her over them.
Feferi perked up, not sure if he’d heard him correctly. An odd request…..She skeptically looked over at the man dressed in yellow, feeling like he was hiding something from her.
"Well, we could go to the park. It’s a nice day out, so theres bound to bensome sort of crowd." She suggested, Aranea had told her of its popularity, they had even visited, leaving it quite worthy of its title. "I don’t mean to push, butbare you sure you’re okay, Sollux?" She asked with a tone of sympathy and concern.
He nodded quickly, putting his free hand in his pocket, “park sounds great, let’s go…” This hiding was killing him, but normality, for once, was trying to fight back against his conditions.
She shot him a worrisome glance, squeezing his hand that was in hers, if meant to say ‘I love you.’ A small smile came to her face as they walked, she was more dragging him but whatever. “So, how was your day?” Feferi asked bubbily.
He smiled lightly at her and walked, "It's been alright... Slept for a while then went to the library..."

"Nothing" he said, eyes moving to meet Equius’ through glassy eyes.
"Haven’t bothered doing anything else because I have no idea what you want this little guy to do…"
He sensed that his partner did not want to talk about it, or perhaps he just…
Although he thought Sollux was most likely lacking in sincerity, Equius sat down across from him. He leaned forward in his chair, his arms crossed in front of him. “Is there anything you want to try?” He, enunciating his words. “We are partners.”
Sollux gave a small shrug, and looked at Equius. "It doesn't matter to me..."
Rufioh was sitting in the hall of the dorm building, as he often found himself doing when he was bored. He also found that he was bored a lot. It had been almost a month since he first pulled his van up to Skaia University, and the rush of the punk rock scene at home had learned to fade to the…
Sollux instantly dropped the ball, flinching and protecting his body from any impact. Once he heard it hit the floor he unraveled himself and looked over at Rufioh. "Two things… One; why would you throw things at people with no warning… Two; what kind of stupid thing?"
Rufioh gave Sollux a mischievous grin. “The best kind.” He said, jumping to his feet. “Lets go.” He called, walking down the halls. Going through the doors, Rufioh thought about what stupid things they could do. He didn’t have to think too much, in college there’s no limited supply of stupid activities.
Sollux picked up the ball for his sort of friend and followed quickly. "I’m being serious about the first question…" He said, frowning as he sort of walked quickly behind the other.
Rufioh still didn’t really know what the stupid thing they were going to do was. He kept his eye out as he casually walked along the sidewalk, but nothing came to mind. “Don’t worry about it, Sol.” He looked back with a smirk. When he turned to face his companion, he saw the college water tower, and his smirk turned to a wide grin. “This way.” He said, turning around and walking straight towards the towering structure. “This is gonna be fun.”
"Oh god," the Blonde said, helplessly following his friend into what ever danger. Something within him told him it was gonna be bad, maybe it was the sinking feeling of doom?
"Nothing" he said, eyes moving to meet Equius’ through glassy eyes.
"Haven’t bothered doing anything else because I have no idea what you want this little guy to do…"
He sensed that his partner did not want to talk about it, or perhaps he just didn’t want to talk to him. He was sure that everybody must know about what happened between Gamzee and him. “We can talk about it later, if you want.” he said with a certain dejection. He pulled his bag over his shoulder.
"We can talk about it now... I'm not doing anything..." The blonde looked up at the other male before him and sat up slightly, stretching his back over the back of his seat.

He pondered for a short while, “it is rather strange… What are we gonna do about it? Change it back to what it should be?”
Sollux looked at the paper against the numbers on his computer, “wait this one is different…”
Terezi snorted. “Change them? Oh no, they deserve much worse punishment than that…”
Cocking an eyebrow, she poked him, wanting to know what the inconsistency was. She would look, but, well. “What do you mean?”
"You said it's always the three numbers... But this one girl, she got full marks. Though before she was the lowest grade in the class..." He said looking at the blind girl, "though it's not really important..."
