Beyonce adorns the cover of GQ's February issue sexily clad and talking babies, men and money. We were most shocked to read about her extensive "Beyonce archive." Oh and she talks about the new album:

A few words from Beyoncé on her upcoming album, for which she's already recorded about fifty songs.—A.W

On her collaborators: "I've been working with Pharrell and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and Dream. We all started in the '90s, when R&B was the most important genre, and we all kind of want that back: the feeling that music gave us." On songwriting: "I used to start with lyrics and then I'd find tracks—often it was something I had in my head, and it just so happened to go with the melody. Now I write with other writers. It starts with the title or the concept of what I'm trying to say, and then I'll go into the booth and sing my idea. Then we work together to layer on." On the album's influences: "Mostly R&B. I always have my Prince and rock/soul influences. There's a bit of D'Angelo, some '60s doo-wop. And Aretha and Diana Ross."  On her inspirations: "Even the silliest little thing that you hear on the radio, it comes from something deeper. 'Bootylicious' was funny, but it came from people saying that I had gained weight and me being like, 'I'm a southern woman, and this is how southern women are.' My motivation is always to express something or to heal from something or to laugh and rejoice about something."

KG to Melo: "Your wife tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios!"

So...apparently Kevin Garnett has taken things a bit too far with his on-court trash talking as evidenced by the double technical fouls during the game and video footage of Carmelo Anthony waiting for him by the Celtics' bus after last night's game. 

After shooting 6-for-26 Monday night in theKnicks' 102-96 loss to the Celtics, Anthony went straight to the Celtics' locker room yelling and had to be held back by teammates.

Although the Celtics declined to say exactly what had occurred, it was clear from coach DocRivers' postgame comments that something had happened.

"I'm going to let you all figure that one out. I'm going to stay out of that," Rivers said. "If it were the playoffs, I'd tell on him. But since it's not, I'm just going to be quiet."

It's a pretty fair bet that Anthony's frustration was aimed at Kevin Garnett, a former MVP who went back and forth with Anthony all night. The referees had to intervene and administer double technical fouls with 9:03 remaining, which seemed to fire up the visiting underdogs.

"It's the heat of the battle, man," Garnett said. "It's guys going back and forth. He's trying to get his team to go. I'm trying to get my team to go. Both teams are colliding. It's just what it is."

When asked if Anthony had come to the Celtics' locker room and started yelling after the game, Garnett shrugged and said, "Man, it's just basketball."
