...Talking planets, huh? I wouldn't mind talking to one of them. You close to Earth right now? How're they doing? Is the Moon alive, too?

ASTRODUDE: Everyone’s alive and well! Um, as alive as they’re ever going to be at least.

ASTRODUDE: To tell you guys the truth, what you see is what you get for the most part? I never really see them doing much else outside of talking and playing cards…And asking me questions…but that’s besides the point.

ASTRODUDE: Funny enough, Jupiter tends to be pretty knowledgeable when it comes to information and facts. I guess that makes sense. In regards to how the planets formed he would be the one who has been around the longe-

[camera abruptly turns]

VENUS: HEY! Who are you talking to, Astrodude? Your crazy little ramblings to that thing are throwing me off my game.

oh. that's- uhhhhhhh- um-.. did everyone see that or am I catching space crazy???

ASTRODUDE: So you really are seeing this too! That's a relief….I think.

ASTRODUDE: If I had all the answers I wouldn't exactly be here.

ASTRODUDE: I'm sorry, that came off as rude, but I honestly don’t know. The fact that I just found out about them talking a few months ago should be a good indicator that I'm not as knowledgeable about the planets as I thought I was. It's embarrassing to admit, but I spent years studying space and all its celestial bodies, only for everything to suddenly turn on its head.

ASTRODUDE: That’s...honestly a relief to hear. I was beginning to think that this whole blog thing was going to be a lost cause. The majority of them are nice. Some of them however are a little…interesting.

ASTRODUDE: -

so... planets can talk? I don't think so, but let's say that the celestial objects ARE sentient. What are the limits? Are the moons sentient? The sun? Asteroids, maybe? And if you think the planets can talk, then this is a HUGE deal, isn't it? Why are you here posting online about it? You're an astronaut, so you'd be showing your 'evidence' to whichever space corporation you work for, yeah? Not here to the public eye? Y'sure this isn't for clout or whatever?

[Astrodude sighs.]

ASTRODUDE: For starters, the only thing I've yet to see come up to me and ask a question were random space rocks and other debris. The sun, the moons and all the planets definitely can speak. And...Look, if this was for clout, I’d do something more believable than talking planets. Not that this couldn't 'blow up' on the internet or anything, but this wouldn't be my first, second...or even any thought, actually.

ASTRODUDE: I can't go into too much detail, but let’s just say the people I work for aren't exactly the best. I need to start somewhere, and when I tried to drop hints to them about this, it was just brushed off. I have the pills to prove it.

ASTRODUDE: Hey, so that's a great question! The not-so-great answer is I genuinely have no idea. There has to be something more going on here, but the most I can do is share what I see. I know a lot of you don't believe me, but the fact that you guys are at least seeing what I'm seeing is confirmation enough that either we're ALL crazy, or this is real and there's an answer out there somewhere!

something that im curious about is how "meta" are we allowed to go with these asks

For context: i want to do a ask referencing solarballs themselves but i dont mean like literally telling astrodude that he's whole life is fake but rather make solarballs a in-universe clandestine group who made and/or has found footages of the talking planets and that now around 1 million people besides astrodude knows about them

Can i or other people do that?

ASTRODUDE: The planets, they talk. They're sentient and alive and they speak just like the rest of us.

ASTRODUDE: Wait, wait! Before you click off and think I'm some kind of lunatic, I swear I can prove it! That's exactly why I made this whole page!

You guys can ask whatever questions you want, and as long as they're reasonable, I can have some of the planets answer them for you all!

I'm hoping that by doing this, it will help prove my case and… maybe prove to myself that I'm not actually going completely...crazy?
