It makes me so crazy how Tedros and Sophie are two sides of the same coin and No One Talks About It...? They're opposite ends of each conflict in each book; Good and Evil / Prince and Witch, Boy and Girl, even Young and Old; Sophie is relentlessly, anachronistically modern, and Tedros is from the most ancient legend of any of the lead characters, and royalty relies upon tradition and dynasty. In book 1, Sophie dies and Agatha ends up saving her. In book 6, Tedros dies and Agatha ends up saving him (in a roundabout way). They both die to rectify past mistakes or transgressions, even though neither of them should really have had to do that. Sophie's mother is dead, and she resents her father and his new family. Tedros's father is dead, and he resents his mother and Lancelot. They both know they're a lot like their dead parent, and they kinda come to hate it, and try to escape it with varying degrees of success; or at the very least, their actions are dictated by said parent, especially their worse decisions. They're both a bit vain and a bit prideful and a bit fake. They're initially obsessed with appearances, and seriously good at putting up fronts. They both rely heavily on Agatha to keep them grounded. They both get deeply upset and defensive when they percieve they've been rejected or abandoned. They both have a temper and zero impulse control. They both appeal to the two separate sides of Agatha; Sophie the part of her that wants to be ordinary, Tedros the part of her that wants to be worthy of more, and valued and important. This, of course, makes them woefully incompatible because the things they resent about each other (Tedros thinks Sophie is a fake and unreliable and self-centred, Sophie thinks Tedros is obtuse and insensitive and unworthy of Agatha's attention) are criticisms that could easily be turned around on the person making them. It just seems fascinating to me that they're probably one of the strongest cases for foils / parallels in the series but it never really gets brought up.
This International Women's Day I feel obliged to remind everyone that Agatha pulled Excalibur from the anvil exactly like Arthur had done in TLEA, thought it was no big deal and then forgot about it, and then like four of the lads spent three whole books butting heads about who could pull it, when she was the first one to do it successfully, but like a year earlier than them. I would also like to sneak in at the end here that Nicola should have been the School Master and I'll forever be mad she wasn't. Also Yara shouldn't have died. Or Callis. Actually I have a lot of points--
oh-
oh my god the agatha thing?
so it really is king agatha then? i did not remember that at all and i just-
agatha could have taken the throne ANY time. she pulled Excalibur. why was that never touched on again?

I Donāt Want This Kind of Hero - Fun Facts (Naga)
1. Nagaās stats (starting from the top, clockwise): Telekinesis, Grades, Mamaās Boy, Physical Fitness, Luck.Ā
Blood type: O, DOB: July 7, Height: 175cm, Weight: 66kg
2. Samchon (the author) originally came up with 2 character designs for Naga - a timid, gloomy-looking one and an enthusiastic, energetic one. She just mixed the two together in the end. Naga also had brown hair in the original design.
2. Naga once made his computer explode after getting jumpscared while playing a horror game.
3. He canāt eat spicy food and doesnāt like sushi and fish.
4. He doesnāt like going to the karaoke because heĀ sucks at singing. He canāt draw to save his life and canāt swim. I think heās basically not good at almost everything other than being the strongest person in the world?
5. When his friend first showed him porn in middle school, he said,Ā āHey this is awesome, whereād you get this?ā He always keeps his eyes wide open while watching.
6. Nagaās favorite color is anything in the shade of blue.
7. He can never grow taller than 180cm.
8. Naga has a younger female cousin named Naja. She has the same powers as Naga but will eventually be stronger than him because she can do ghost things? Basically Naga + Haze?? The author planned to have her be the protagonist of a different series.
9. Naga (and Naja) is a fan of One Piece and Dragon Ball.
10. He likes animals. His favorites are dogs and he dreams of living with a big dog that can connect with him, but he also likes cats, tarantulas, and reptiles. He doesnāt like most bugs.
11. Naga, Dana, Yuda, and Dune all graduated from the same high school.
12. Heās forced to wear his school uniform to work because he has to maintain his image as a student hero. Even after graduation, he would wear the uniform for a while.

14. Nagaās hobbies include: Preparing stacks of manga and reading them, finding memes online, and watching pornā¦

IDWTKOH: Sasa Facts
1. Sasaās stats (clockwise from the top): Looks, Presence, Style, Talent, Diction
Blood type: B; DOB: October 10; Height: 188cm; Weight: 40kg (heās a bird so his bones are empty, hence heās very light)
2. Technically the best-looking character in IDWTKOH. Spoon hired him to use his looks to promote themselves to the public.
3. His insecurities are his eyebrows (because they donāt exist) and his lisp (cute uwu)
4. Apparently it takes him a long ass time to wash and dry his wings. But he doesnāt wash them every single day during the winter
5. Heās originally from the countryside & moved to the city when his dadās greenhouse got destroyed in a typhoon. Now lives in the staff dorm bc his home is far away (Naga gets him there during holidays).
6. He discharged from the military already but didnāt adjust well in the army life
7. His younger brother, Sara, is an idol under Fork Entertainment (Yudaās agency). He doesnāt have a lisp and has eyebrows. People say that heās a crappy singer but handsome. He appeared in the series when idwtkoh wasnāt an official webtoon yet.
8. Their dad is also handsome and looks hella young (so the situation is he got kidnapped by an illegal pet shop bc he didnāt have an ID since a lot of mixed people werenāt given IDs when he was younger so they thought he was a pure mystical creature. all shown in the unofficial series :D)
9. Sasa never dated anyone bc he isnāt interested in dating.
10. Sasaās character design was originally a dragon mix. The author downgraded him to a crow after adding in the fact that heās clumsy
11. He likes street food. Heās forced to wear all black when he works, so he tends to wear colorful socks and underwear.
12. The author gave him a lisp bc she wanted him to be a comedic character who has his cool moments from time to time, but it ended up interfering with the tension and atmosphere of serious scenes as the series continued so she was pretty sad about it.
13. Heās 2nd place in gettingĀ the most chocolates on Valentineās Day in Spoon. First is Vivian. Sasa seems to like the shiny wrappings on the chocolate boxes rather than the chocolate itself.
