>It possesses the mysterious power to see right through everything in the world from the "Kernel" (God's domain). It is said that with that power, it knows all about events that happen throughout the Digital World, and has accumulated a divine amount of knowledge.
Rose's parting words to Reina, at first it struck me more as meta commentary about how Reina hasn't reached that level of evolution yet. But also, going back to the episode where they first met, Rose was notably impressed of Reina and her bravado. She was facing certain death in the face, confident that Pristimon would save her in time and both managed to take out the Perfect level Myotismon with no help, levels be damned.
In this episode however, knowing that she's facing a Five Star and coming off from Oblivimon's fiasco, Reina's confidence is not there anymore. She's still protecting Miharu even after Wolvermon got easily defeated, but looking at her it's clear she's already given up. So I can imagine that's the thing Rose is most disappointed at, and even the 'perfect level' comment didn't manage to rile up Reina.
Miharu, cult terrorist leader and maiden in love.
Appealing to Tomoro's troubles by also having a sibling who she wants to bring back a smile to. No wonder he felt the need to protect her, as she said, "They're the same."
Episode 35 (Rampaging Instinct) preview:
Bombermon (Another Gammamon evo) and a worried Reina.
With a title like that... I wonder...
I thought it over and I think Digimon RPGs would be improved if they brought back starter teams
Digimon World Dawn/Dusk had starter packs of singular digimon starters. Every trio had Coronamon and Lunamon with two other digimon. One listed as common and one listed as rare
Between all of the following:
-Most Digimon games using the attribute triangle for the battle system
-Needing multiples of most digimon to fill out the field guide
-The entire roster is mostly unlocked as soon as you get all the baby levels which are always first dungeon encounters anyway
There's really not much reason to restrict the player to a singular starter digimon, but there is good reason to justify having a full trio
The streets were bustling, happy people going about their day with no sign of danger in sight— much to the annoyance of Surge the Tenrec. She moped through the town she’d found herself in as the ever faithful Kitsunami shadowed her every move. He hadn’t had a chance to sneak away and… let’s just say give Surge a chance to shine, but that didn’t mean his mind wasn’t racing with ideas, despite how sullen he looked lugging his hydro pack around. No, he was incredibly aware of his surroundings: how a bomb here or a flood there could give Surge oh so many people to save.
Surge…
He admittedly found it hard to tear his gaze away from her sometimes. She was so… perfect. Granted, he could just be thinking that because he was brainwashed to, but that didn’t take away from how bold, confident, and powerful she was. He’d do anything to see her smile, and right now: she wasn’t. That was a problem.
Her head hung low, she didn’t notice the missing poster on the wall as she passed it by… but kit did. He stopped in his tracks, lingering as he stared at it.
MISSING: Puddles the Fennec, last seen before the Metal Virus outbreak.
That picture… short, blue fur, long droopy ears and teardrop belly. It was him, right down to the way he cowered before the camera. It was an unsettling sight, him all alone in frame, him in the centre, something missing— SOMEONE missing. It sent chills down the poor boy’s spine. Still, this meant someone was looking for them… him anyway.
Kit’s left ear perked up. “Yo, Drippy?” Kit fumbled to tear down the poster as Surge approached. “Geez, is it that boring here? You’d rather stare at a blank wall?” Surge guffawed at her own joke, sensing his cue, kit gave a light chuckle.
“I guess so,” Kit replied, turning to look up at her. Surge’s expression soured once more.
“Seriously though, if something doesn’t happen in the next five minutes, I’m outta here.”
“Sorry, ma’am,” Kit mumbled.
“Why are YOU sorry,” Surge asked incredulously. “It’s not your fault.”
“Oh. Sorry-“ Kit answered again.
“Quit apologising!” Kit smirked a bit, then spoke once more.
“Okay… sorry.” Surge grabbed him.
“That’s it! You’re getting it now!” Surge went in for the noogie- one of her classic ones that makes your hair frizz up with static electricity. Kit laughed as lightning tickled his face before she let go.
“Anyway. I saw an icecream truck up ahead so… race ya!” Without warning, Surge boomed off. This gave kit some time to look at the crumpled up poster; he hated looking at it, but he just couldn’t stop himself. He stuffed it in his boot before propelling himself after surge with powerful jets of water.
The 4th and Final Peril's design has been unveiled!
THIS THING IS AWESOME!
It appears to be a boar-like demon with an Ice and Death theming to it.
The "fire" appears to be more of a spirtual cold flame rather than normal hot fire.
Its back is adorned with ribcage-like spines and has a skull piercing on its tail. I love it.
Its tree-like tusks and tail appear to be a pun on its namesake.
>In the name "Taowu," "tao" means "to pound" or "to beat," and "wu" refers to a tree without branches, a bare wooden pole used for "pounding" things, inevitably bringing to mind a solid "club" or "bludgeon." Taowu, as described by its name, is incapable of listening to any reason or comprehending any words.
Surge the Tenrec: Japanese Impressions in Speed Simulator
In Japan, there are many ways to address yourself and others.
Surge uses "ore" and "anta" for (I, Me) and (You) respecitvely.
What do those mean?
Ore (オレ) is a very masculine 1st-person impression, used by rowdy, impolite males and practically never by females. Surge is what would be called an "orekko (オレっ娘)", a girl that uses ore. It's often translated as "tomboy" and is quite rude.
Anta (あんた) is an informal 2nd-person impression, only used amongst close friends in a casual, informal manner. When used towards strangers, it's downright rude, blunt and contemptive.
She also uses "ore-sama (オレ様)" like Vector and Jet do.
Ore-sama is an arrogant way to address yourself, as in "I am important" and sounds egotistical.
Basically, she is masculine and crude in her terms of addressment.
Sorta like Silver (JP), in a way.
