with all the shit Nintendo has done this year, I've lost the spark

I won't be buying anything Nintendo-related obviously, despite Pokémon being something that took a huge part of my life since birth

but then, idk what to draw

I've thought about drawing pixel arts of MtG or Digimon cards, but the arts are often too detailed to render well in such small format, at least with what I'm capable of doing

ik some people do great devamps of Digimon cards, ik I won't unless the illustrations are super simple (Betamon and Tsukaimon have simple illustrations)

big steps done since: - the PCmon (yes they're digimons, but heh!) can now evolve depending on requirements (no die and revive feature yet) - the save-related features are done - the timers are being worked on rn

step by step it'll start to look like something

btw I've set it so the roster and mon sprites can be customized to a certain point (even the evolution trees, though I'll suggest to not mess too much with it as some evolution trees are meant to be unlocked with "events" encountered) it was surprisingly easier to do than expected

so far the ID, Inventory and Map icons are all functional \o/ (ID scene still need some polishing, but it's 100% usable) next steps are the Town (to move between Town maps) (done), Shop (done), House and Poop icons (other icons are either useless without any monster raising mechanic OR are minigames I'd like not to make a priority for now, small steps first) then I'll move to the background hourly gains/loses and the main part: the monster raising part (+ sprite animations) and how to make it customizable (name/attribute/ability/requirements/spritesheet)
