Thor is a flat-earther, or something very similar. Asgard looks like this.

So flat for the most part on top with small mountains with a lot of mass underneath. I'm going to call it an iceberg planet. If Asgard looks like this, why not Earth?

Thor asks where Earth's edges are one day. He's been so many places on Earth and hasn't seen the edge ever, so he's starting to wonder how big the planet really is. All of the Avengers are trying to explain to him that, no, Earth is not flat. They ask if he really thinks Asgard is flat. Thor tells them that, yeah, he stood on the edge of Asgard. Multiple times. Right below him was the dark expanse of space. The Avengers then have to tell Thor that he probably shouldn't go around talking about flat planets because there is a whole movement claiming the Earth is flat and they don't need an alien's supposed seal of approval.
