I have this “little” scatter project going on where I want an Earth dragon born on the chest egg day (Jun 13th) with good earthy colors. Male I’ve already got, and the female I currently have I’m considering letting go because I’m not really into xxy’s that much.
This is now the second replacement scatteree to go non-earthy double. T_T
If you have a female Earth dragon (preferably plentiful, though I’ll also take Nocturnes if there’s nothing else available) born on June 13th that you’re looking to sell, HMU! Colors don’t matter, as it’ll be a scatter project. I already have the next scatteree, but with how well this has been going so far, I’m bound to need more.

A short while ago @snapperbear had discussed briefly some lore ideas surrounding earth flight and funerary practice which involved using statues to home spirits and keep them from losing their minds and their humanity... or dragonity... however we wanna term it.
It's very good lore and I'll let them talk about it before I bastardize it too much.
But it lead to some thoughts about Obelisks.
The 1st gen Obelisks are reincarnated.
They're the souls of the lost. The ghosts who weren't found, had no family or friends to bury them properly, no hope, no sanity. All of them reeled in by the god of the earth himself and given a second chance at life.
Just like with any other wandering ghost, they were given a vessel, a grave, a body to inhabit, but this went a step further. Into that body was breathed a new life and a new purpose that stripped away the suffering of what came before. New names, new identities, and, with luck, some hope for the future.
They came forth of all different elements because they had once been of all different elements. Some remember more than others, but their new mission keeps their minds busy and their pain dull and distant. The earth always remembers, and would not let the souls of the lost slip away so easily.

Her story goes, that she went crazy for alchemy when she managed to turn her previously stony gembond into actual diamonds - ones that she can’t sell due to them being attached to her hide. So she’s trying to do the same thing again on normal rocks so that she can get rich fast.
