Her jar dropped wide open, forming an ‘o’ shape. She was in such a state of shock that there were no words that she could use. It was just how he was, and the only thing she could do was just put up with it. There was no point of picking a fight with him for they’ve had far too many to count.

                    He waited for a couple more seconds until the people had passed before turning his attention fully to the female, a sheepish grin blooming over his lips. Gun was never really the guy to take things seriously, even in the most critical situations he’d usually be the one cracking jokes or talking about something completely else, so when the latter had asked for help, of course his instinct was to embarrass the female first, and only then address the issue. “So, what did you need help with again?”

                    Ripped canvas, splattered paint on walls, ground and furniture, ink dripping down the fingers of the male absolutely drenched in anger. It was such a small mistake, so very little and seemingly unimportant, yet it was the same mistake that had completely ruined the project Gun had been working on for weeks. He stares at the wreckage he had caused, and a loop sided grin curves on his lips, as if mocking no one else but himself knowing very well just how much money was wasted on the equipment and paints that’s now running down the what was supposed to be white walls. “Shove that assignment up your fucking ass.” He sneers, seating himself in the paint covered chair in front of the easel with canvas -- more like the frame alone, and pulls out a cigarette, lighting the latter up and taking a long drag in attempt to calm himself down.

Hyejin’s jaw clenched tightly at the male’s response back and took a deep breath to calm down. Just like the father of her child, she didn’t want to see the other person, let alone leave her precious child with him. She needed to be civil before he bailed on watching Lucia just like so many times before and she was forced to ditch another class. It wasn’t his nor her fault Hyejin’s roommate caught plans last minute but his misplace anger was grinding her nerves and she already had enough to worry about, she didn’t need his petty arguments crowding her vibes.

                     Be a fucking father and not a whiny fuck, he reads, and it takes all will to not respond something explicit in return, or how all this mess is really just her own fault. Instead he tucks the phone in the back pocket of his jeans and fixes the strap of knapsack -- full of toys and books for the little kid as well as a couple DVD’s -- that’s slung over his shoulder. The word bitch slips from his lips just loud enough to get him a stern look from a woman that’s been heading in the same direction for a while now, but at this point he couldn’t care less, he just wants to get to the place and get over with the task -- or more like, get over with seeing the female and lead her the fuck out as fast as possible. After all, it’s not the kid that he loathes, it’s her mother who does whatever she wants and expects everyone to be okay with it. 

                    No longer than ten minutes after his last text, he’s standing in front of the doors, knocking gently on the wooden surface in case Lucia was asleep. It was the very reason why he disconnected the doorbell when Hyejin started complaining that someone kept ringing it and waking up little one. Gun’s hoping, praying almost, that the mother of their child is ready to go wherever she needs to and won’t end up lingering around for any longer, or better yet -- start lecturing him about how he needs to take care of the kid as if he haven’t done it before.

Hyejin looked down at the beeping of her phone and let out a heavy sigh. She filled the pink sippy cup up with apple juice and passed it along to her whining daughter before reading the text.

                    Gun feels the phone buzzing in his hands -- indicating the new message -- and with a loud groan slipping past his lips he swipes his thumb across the screen, reading the texts with his jaw clenched in annoyance. He couldn’t even recall how many times they’ve watched the movie and at this point he could tell the whole storyline from start to finish without any trouble. The mere idea of watching it yet. again. gives him a headache to say the least. And to watch it with a bouncing, hyperactive one year old whose mood changes every 5 fucking seconds, just like her PMS’ing mothers? Seems like walking straight into hell, he thinks, typing up response text with a bitter expression on his face as he heads towards the apartment complex where the female lives with their daughter.
