Who's your favorite NPC so far in each clan and why?

ohhh man this is such a question, this is so hard. uhhh. it depends i think if we're going to discuss design wise i would say that deathrattle and gorgedusk from grotto are my favs. gorgedusk is the cat that apprentices go to so they can get their ears pierced and deathrattle hates adults but loves talking apprentices' ears off about stories from it's life.

as for archclan uhm these two for sure! (this art isn't mine its by my buddy @doubleclanned who helped with npcs) Cloverblink can be so green bean to me. I think she's like the nicest soul in that clan and that Ornatetwirl will fucking haunt you in your dreams forever. god bless

Marlin: Member | she/they bigender | 7 years 3 months

-Large black striped dark gray tabby with some white speckling on her fur and under the eyes. Has a torn ear and a scar across the bridge of her nose. Long, thick fur that often tangles. Has a tummy pouch and often decorates pelt with flowers. Reddish purple eyes

-Marlin has a dominating personality- they follow a strict set of personal rules and while they don’t force others to follow them, she doesn’t appreciate others getting in her way about them. She’s not afraid to use claws, and her bite is worse than her bark.

     >Goose: Arrived in Cinder City from the same boat that Goose did, claiming to be from a very far off land that was very cold. The two don’t always get along though.

Goose: Advisor + Member | he/him trans tom | 2 years 5 month

-Dark gray tabby with thick black striping. Fur is long and thick with a ‘mane’ around the neck and extra tufted fur around the mouth like a ‘mustache’. Heterochromatic eyes: Right orange, Left gold

-Goose is a strong young tom with dreams of greatness in the best way. He seeks out work to do to support his clowder, often going out of his way for even small details. He loves stories and has a great memory, and will often share stories with cats from other places in exchange for their stories.

Chowder: Member | xe/they/he agender | 4 years 2 months

-Medium-length soft, feathery fur (longer on face and tail) calico. Built like a brick. Golden eyes

-Chowder is a somewhat kind cat with some struggles that have made them a bit more internally grudge-holding towards others. Chowder has an atrocious sense of direction and coupled with the way they fall asleep anywhere at anytime has brought up concern about them going out on his own. Chowder knows xer clowder-mates mean well, but it can be somewhat.. insulting the way they speak about him. But Chowder doesn’t speak it outloud, and simply has decided to pretend it doesn’t affect xem.

-Relations: Gorgeous is xer brother, The Bamble is xer mother, and Dace is their niece

Oatmeal: Temp Medic/Advisor | she/he agender | 3 years 9 months

-Yellow and gray striped tabby with the face being split half and half. The front half of the body is yellow-striped and the back half is gray-striped. Robin’s egg blue eyes, has shorter than average legs

- Oatmeal is a massive gossip goose. He loves to know everything and anything- Oatmeal has even tried to get into the human gossip. Other cats find her nosy and annoying sometimes, so he isn’t always the most well liked cat in the group.

Echo: Kittenwatcher | she/her tom | 4 years 8 months

-Brownish with darker brown stripe going from forehead to back. Patchy fur especially on the tail, with large rounded ears. Looks younger than she is. Burnt-Orange eyes

-Echo is soft-spoken and anxious- most of the patchy fur comes from her nervous overgrooming. She often tries to put herself out of her comfort zone but does so in such a all-or-nothing manner that Echo usually ends up right back where she was. Fears abandonment again, and hates being all by herself.

-Friendships:

      >Halloweenie: Bonded with the other molly after realizing they’d both been abandoned by their owners, and often share a den at night.

Ocean Zephyr (Oz): Runner | ze/zem/zeir | 6 years 8 months

-Blue-Greenish striped tabby with tan running from zeir muzzle down to the end of zeir belly as well as all four legs, white in these same places. White spotty freckles and longer fur on head. Seaweed is wrapped around zeir face where zeir eyes would have been, and on the tail as well. Sometimes shells/trinkets are tied in, and shell-pieced ears. Oz has no eyes.

-Oz is a bit of an oddball cat- ze likes to do some very strange things. Ze came up with ideas like piercing ears like the humans do, though not many cats have taken zem up on the offer. Ze likes to think outside the box and is very much an active cat who enjoys wandering around the city. Oz is a bit of a trinket collector, and can often be seen stealing things from human dens.

      >Gorgeous: Pierced ear buddies! It helps Oz with zeir accessories and is always down to steal something flashy.

Gorgeous: Member | they/them it/its trans tom | 6 years 5 months

-A primarily cream coloured tom with a long dark brown stripe down their back and sides. three stripes ranging from a light tan to a dark tan fill in the stripe and the tail has these stripes as well. Ears are pierced with bone ‘hooks’. Olive eyes

-Gorgeous is an easy-going cat, though somewhat full of itself (after all, Gorgeous did come up with its own name). They’re a great confidence booster though, as Gorgeous believes everyone should be like them in the self-love area. (add. note: masc terms IE son/uncle are good, he/him is not <3)

-Relations: The Bamble is their mother, Chowder is their sibling and Dace is their niece.

-Friendships:

      >Ocean Zephyr: Piercing buddies! Gorgeous helps Oz steal seaweed and such for zeir outlandish accessories, they get along great!

The Bamble: Member | She/her cis molly | 13 years 7 months

-Chunky calico with stormy blue eyes (markings do not have to be perfect but please use the reference instead of giving her your own design)

-The Bamble is a cranky older cat who’s got no time for nonsense. She’s not overly fond of other cats disturbing her rest, and The Bamble will frequently complain about younger cats, though she does have a softer spot for a few such as her grandchild or her grandchilds friend. Her bark is just as sharp as her bite though!

-Relations: Gorgeous is her son, Dace is her granddaughter, and Chowder is her child
