nomi there's like this whole bts-wdw war and then there's you and me literally vibing i-
WHAT THERE’S BEEN A WAR I WOULD LIKE TO FORMALLY ANNOUNCE THAT BTS WINS 100%. NO MATTER WHAT WDW HAS BEEN THROUGH AND WHATEVER THEY’VE PRODUCED BTS WORKED THEIR WAY UP FROM NOTHING, FIGHT AGAINST EVERY SINGLE STUPID KPOP ASSUMPTION AND BIAS, AND ARE EVEN HATED ON CONSTANTLY TO THIS DAY AND YET ARE STILL HERE AS THE BIGGEST INTERNATIONAL BAND EVER WHILE BEING ENDLESSLY TALENTED, NOT JUST AS SINGERS BUT AS DANCERS, ARTISTS, WRITERS, AND MORE. WDW COULD NEVER BEAT THAT.
okay i’m overreacting but still bts would beat wdw in a fucking heartbeat and you know it
also they’ve spoken up about loving yourself no matter who you are, started a whole campaign about it, wrote three whole albums of songs about it and continue to support loving yourself and say to use them as a way to love yourself. they’ve dedicated and wrote many songs for army (most specifically ‘we are bulletproof:the eternal’ which was about how they were only seven boys from korea and without army they wouldn’t have risen to the top) and i don’t know any boy bands who have written songs for their fans. they constantly make their songs gender neutral to include all genders and sexualities and constantly support feminism, lgbtq+, and anti-racism. whenever they go to perform a concert in a foreign place, they make sure to be respectful and to take it upon themselves to learn about them (like muslims!! there are many pieces of evidence and all i could explain but dig deeper if you wanna know yourself lmao it won’t be too hard).
not only that, they worked up from the very bottom. it may have seemed like an overnight success in america, but really bts have gone through so much to get to where they are today. they’ve been a band for seven years now and the kpop industry is relentlessly tough and they have been dragged down so so so many times but they stood back up and that’s why they’re here today. it took years for them to get where they are now, and barely anyone, even some of their own family members, supported them.
they are way more than kpop, more than a boy band. they are bts and will forever be incredible.
but im ilyyy <333
ily toooooo <3333

Kagehina and flowercrowns for the prompts! Thanks <3
“Are those flowers in Kageyama-senpai and Hinata-senpai’s hair?” one of the new first years asks.
Tsukishima sighs as he secures his sports glasses firmly against his face. They’re about to be in their first official match of the season, and whether or not half the third years on the team are blossoming like the first days of spring is not one of his concerns, currently. He doesn’t have time to answer dumb questions sparked by the even dumber duo.
“Yeah!” Yamaguchi says. “They’re crowns.”
“Ooohhh,” the first year says. “Because they’re the ‘Kings of the Court’!”
“Yup!” Yamaguchi grins. “And it took a lot of work for them to get this far, so they like to show it off when they can.”
Tsukishima snorts. “They like to show off, period.”
“A lot of work?” another first year pipes up, confused. “But they’re the best players, like, ever, so what did they have to work a bunch for?”
Tsukishima glares in his direction and the unfortunate boy straightens up, looking absolutely terrified.
“What did they have to work for?” Tsukishima asks him. “Do you think you get good at anything, ever, if you don’t work for it?”
“But–” one of the other boys says, “Kageyama-senpai was a genius, even in middle school! And Hinata-senpai is faster than anyone, so–”
“Hinata made a fool of himself every time he stepped on the court when he first joined the team freshman year,” Tsukishima says, cutting him off. “Kageyama got benched in his final game in middle school.”
The first years look absolutely stunned. “Kageyama-senpai got benched?”
“Tsukki,” Yamaguchi hisses, but Tsukishima just rolls his eyes. If these little upstarts think they can get to the level those two monsters are at now without busting their asses for it, they’ve got another thing coming, and they need to learn it fast. Tsukishima isn’t about to carry dead weight around on his back.
“You can ask them about it yourself on the bus ride back,” he says. “Huddle up!”
The rest of the team falls in line, Kageyama and Hinata among them, though they continue whatever conversation they were previously having verbally without words, in the form of exchanged glances, elbow nudges, and stepping on each other’s feet. Kageyama frowns and minutely adjusts the circlet of bright blue flowers nestled in Hinata’s contrasting curly mop. A ring of orange sits atop Kageyama’s hair, like little candle flames against the nighttime sky.
Tsukishima knows, by now, that they’re still paying attention, so he doesn’t reprimand them. They’ve earned it.
“Kageyama,” Hinata asks, as he struggles to weave the flower stems and the leaves and the blooms through each other without the whole damn crown falling apart. The crowns usually get all messed up during games so they end up having to make new ones, every time. Hinata doesn’t mind, but honestly even he thought he’d be better at this by now.
“Hm?” Kageyama asks, deeply focused on his own task. His fingers move much more deftly, and he is farther along with his crown than Hinata. He’s always been better at making them, even when they first started out.
“Do you remember when you hated being called King?”
Kageyama blinks up at him. “Yeah,” he says. “How would I just forget that? My memory doesn’t suck like yours.”
“My memory doesn’t suck!” Hinata says. “I was just wondering, because you seem to not mind it so much anymore!”
“Well, yeah,” Kageyama says. “I like it now. It’s cool.”
“That’s what I said when we first met,” Hinata says. “I already knew it was cool, you were the one who got all grumpy–”
“It wasn’t cool before,” Kageyama tells him. “But it is now that I’m not the only one they call that.”
He has finished the crown he is making. Carefully, he leans forward, to place it on top of Hinata’s head, to make sure it fits. It does, like always; the crowns they have made for each other throughout the years–whether through petals or promises–have always fit.
Hinata grins at him. “Are you saying I helped you become cool, Kageyama?”
“Hell no,” Kageyama says. He kisses Hinata, and then concedes, against smiling lips: “But you did help me become me.”
Hinata pushes him down into the grass, strewn with blue and orange flower petals, and kisses him back.
i’m only back on tumblr for kagehina hmph i love them so mcuh difkkdfkdkkfmd *cries*

Seriously what the fuck you spent money on those donate to a homeless shelter instead you fucking demons
This is more common than you may think. Many urban areas that have high homeless populations are using “defensive architecture” more and more. Sloped and divided benches to keep the homeless from sleeping on them. Spikes placed in sheltered areas where they tend to stay. City planners argue they are only trying to relocate the homeless, pushing them to see out shelters and homeless centers. But that rings hollow. They just want them out of sight. I don’t have a simple, easy solution. But this isn’t it. Making things harder for the homeless does not help them.
All these corporations have so much money to spend it on putting spikes on places where homeless people sleep yet absolutely NOTHING goes to those who are homeless. This country really doesn’t give a fuck about the well being of homeless people at all
this is heartbreaking fr .
By the way you can remove these spikes with wither a sledgehammer and a heavy metal spike (sharpened crowbar with a downwards slant and the handle removed or something similar) or a concrete saw if you’ve got one of those. It’s illegal to do but it also only takes about an hour if there aren’t too many spikes.
Alternatively, if you put a mattress over them they become useless, although you do risk having the city take the mattress. Normally they don’t reinstall the spikes if you keep removing them.
As for the benches, a concrete or hand held circular saw can cut off the arm rests of the benches with too many arm rests to sleep on. Just remember: Wear protective goggles and practice proper safety if using power tools. All of this stuff can be bought at Home Depot or your local variant of Home Depot.
For legal purposes I have to advise you that this is illegal and I’m not advising you to do this.
remember: they can’t catch you if you’re faster than they are!
Also!! If you wear a hard hat- orange construction vest and carry a clipboard people are more likely to believe your legit and not call the cops on you
ok, that last one is pretty good advice
Also, it is literally cheaper to house a homeless person than to build one of these. We need to get together enough of the people who decide to put these things up and get it through their skulls that together if they put the money they would otherwise spend on each building this into actually housing the homeless, it would be cheaper and they would look good doing it and it would deal with the homeless using their buildings and benches as shelter. (I would use the argument of compassionate and human rights, but as evidenced from these devices, rubbing two empathy cells together is too much for these douchebags)
Prosperity gospel and extreme protestantism are the real issue.
They don’t care that it costs more, because housing people would be giving people something they haven’t earned.
And dealing with that cruel element in our society is inevitably going to take time.
I just read an article about a town that went, ‘well, treating homeless for Covid, etc is really hard.’ So they bought an empty hotel to house people, so they can treat them (for Covid, & other problems). They literally realized it was cheaper & more effective to buy a hotel & stabilize housing than try a homeless shelter (many of which use large room dormitory-style beds) or try to chase down transients to get them treatment.
Multiple programs have proved, solve the housing 1st & the rest will follow.
Housing first is the solution.
Look.
I don’t like seeing people sleeping in the street either. I really don’t.
But I don’t want them to be moved on to anywhere but a bed.
i don’t like seeing people sleeping in the street because it serves as a reminder of how fucked up society is, but we need that reminder constantly if we’re going to change anything. ever heard of out of sight, out of mind? if you aren’t actively seeing homeless people, when would you ever think of homeless people???? living in chicago, you constantly see homeless people all over the place, which means that it’s on your mind a lot and this is why i am so fucking active where i can be trying to home them. if i didn’t see the hundreds of people sleeping in ragged sleeping bags, would i have thought of them as the winter months/colder temperatures set in? would anyone have even thought of them at all? i got a shitton of blankets and sleeping bags and handed them out to everyone i saw who needed one, but would i have done that if all of the homeless people were shoved further and further out of the way?
no.
the answer is no.
don’t even pretend like it’s otherwise.
We been knew that Bts has been raising awareness for all sorts of issues, regarding those we deal with within our beings and those that include the wellbeing of different types of people all around the world.
So here’s a few things they did for Muslims, because no one talks about it and I think Muslim fans should get a chance to feel special too:)
Firstly, here’s an older interview of them where they discussed how they believe that Hijabi women are beautiful and it is exactly that beauty which they protect through their modesty.
Namjoon has shown many little tours of his room, where he talked about a few figurines he keeps in his collections.
The first one, is a representation of the wall that separates Palestine
The second one- the flower thrower is a symbol of peace for the Middle East, following the attack on the gay pride event. Here’s a little bit more about it:
Further more, on the last few concerts around the world that took place during Ramadan:
Bts served Halal food to all the audience
They even had a separate prayer room set up for those who wanted to pray.
They postponed Soundcheck for Ahdan (call for prayer)
In 2017, during the time where an audience member was picked to come on stage to take a selfie with Bts, a girl with a hijab had been selected through the draw, the members alerted each other that it’s not always common for unrelated men to touch a woman in Muslim culture, therefore they all kept a respectful distance from her while taking the photo. Like??? wow?? Respecting someone else’s culture like that while treating them equally??
And last but not least, the boys have raised ❗️2 million dollars❗️ for the sake of ❗️Yemen ❗️through their UNICEF program.
Say “Bts Muslim” to trigger all islamphobes!!!
