Nah, sorry Ren, but I can't excuse it. She's tacitly endorsing bullying guys over 'sexist t-shirts', she's too deep into this SJW third-wave feminist mindset. She didn't say a WORD about the possibility that feminists may be taking this too far over too little. This isn't the same person that stood up for bronies in 2011. Or maybe it's just the other side of the coin, I dunno; I guess when guys like something feminine that she made, there's nothing to be ashamed of. The point is Matt Taylor should never have been forced to apologize like that, and I'm disappointed Faust actually applauded him for it. For feeling like shit and breaking down like that over nothing. She speaks more nicely about it, but she is doing the same thing as the most vitriolic feminists that caused this uproar, and that's inexcusable.

I'm not even convinced she gives two shits about what he's accomplished, but I might give her the benefit of the doubt on that. Maybe when my mood improves.

I’m a little more assravaged you could play as Zero for over half the X series, but you couldn’t play as X in even one Zero game. That being said, I agree with this.

There was a Copy X minigame? I was only aware of the data space dimension and the secret Shadow boss fight.

But yeah, speaking of alt universes, that would be awesome. But I would go further back to the X series and have Zero stay dead after X1. Zero's cool as shit, but having him cheat death and show up in every X game, and start to be playable in X3, stunted X's growth as a character and, more importantly, undermined his gameplay design. If X received more focus in designing the games, I think he would've had not just the air-dash as a standard move in X3 instead of X8, but the double shot as well.

Think of what that could've meant for gameplay: you could've had X double-charging Maverick weapons and crossing them together for crazy effects, meaning that level designs and bosses could be designed for those functions. Ever played Breath of Fire III and combined dragon genes? It could've been some cool ass shit like that. I would've rather had that than switching to Zero.

Then again, this also means we might not have had those awesome Zero themes in X2 and X3, and that would suck.
