today i feel like posting something stupid, so why not a king missile song. this is Martin Scorsese by King Missile. king missile is most well known for their song “Detachable Penis” which is a man rambling about his titular detachable penis over a grunge-ish beat. well on the same album is this song, Martin Scorsese, which is the lead singer shouting about how much he loves the director and what he would do if he met them. im not gonna say more than that. check it out.

the song today isnt a deep cut or anything, but i personally find it to be one of the best diss tracks oat. this is Dollaz + Sense by DJ Quik, which was a diss on another rapper named MC Eiht. I cant really describe why i think this is such a good diss track, if you havent heard it just listen while reading the lyrics. maybe im overhyping it but whatever. check it out.

i lowkey really wanna make big dick randy todays song but i think i gotta stay serious for at least a week before i start putting in bullshit. todays song is Little Lord Fentanyl, a collab between Primus and Puscifer. i love both these bands (and their frontmen) and got to see them together in concert a couple years ago which caused me to follow them a bit more. they released this song a while ago, and i legit think it might be one of my favorite primus songs, which is really hard to say as theres a lot of really good primus songs out there. check it out.

technically i posted that last song today around 12 am, but whatever. todays song is jesus ranch by tenacious d. i love tenacious d, jack black and kyle gass are, to me, the perfect mesh of a really good band while also being funny. jesus ranch is technically just a demo, but its a damn good demo that i love. check it out.

this is frankenstein by the edgar winter group, its one of my personal favorite songs. at a couple points it uses the same synthesizer that created r2-d2’s bleeps and bloops. check it out.
