something that I think about often is characters like Zhongli, right. He's super old. We're only seeing a snapshot of his life and the people around him that he lives around and cares about.

So for countless generations before he has had lived through so many friends, so many families, watched businesses start and fail and arts and technologies change society before becoming forgotten. What kind of people did he befriend? What other things did he do while going incognito? How many people does he miss?

Sometimes I think about mortal character x Zhongli ships (Baizhu, Childe, etc.) and wonder if in the past there were other people, or if this part of his life we are witnessing is special
