Evening Sun || Riley & Calem
Riley shook his head in response, although the impact had left him a bit dazed.
"No⦠I-Iām alright, thank you." He had to raise his head a bit to look up at the other. "Are you alright?"
His first instinct, as a tailor, was to analyse the other up and down, as if he were seeing what he was dealing with. Tall, dark hair. And was it just Riley, or was this boy nearly all legs? He stopped himself from circling the other like a Mandibuzz. Raising his hand and giving it a soft wave, the scars on his hands visible, rolling his shoulders to fix his scarf whilst doing so.
"Ah, right.. I never introduced myself." Riley excused himself. "Iām Riley, pleasure to meet you."
"Y-yes i'm fine." The boy responded, a bit confused as the other examined him. He couldn't be that interesting was he? What was there about him that was so special. Steel eyes glanced over the other as well, taking note of little features here and there as well as the scars on his hands. 'Must work with his hands a lot.'
"Hmm?" Calem was shocked from his thoughts as Riley spoke back up, giving him a smile and a nod. "It's alright. I should have said something too. Calem, it's a pleasure to meet you as well, even though the meeting was a bit bumpy." He chuckled at the attempt to crack a joke.Ā
"I don't believe i've seen you around town before." Granted he hadn't been there for very long. "Did you just move here or have I really been that much of a recluse?"
