Evening Sun || Riley & ((OPEN))
Riley had closed up shop early, the rarest thing he'd probably do. It wasn't like he had anything on, it was just that, incredibly, he couldn't be bothered doing his work.
Standing outside the small cottage, he began to fumble with his keys to it as he locked up the building, stepping away from it once he'd finished locking up. He placed the keys in his pocket, before walking off.
It was pretty close to evening, the sun wavering over the rooftops, as if it was taunting anyone else wanting to do work outside, threatening to lower. Riley walked through the streets of the town, footsteps soft and barely audible.
He'd always had to wonder if it snowed on the island. Being from Sinnoh, he was extremely adapted to it being cold and snowy all year round, and it took him, out of the three years he'd been living here, quite some time to adapt to it being hotter than it was in Sinnoh.
Beside the fact he was constantly wondering if it snowed, Riley had to get groceries. Was anything open at this time? Honestly, he doubted there was. Pulling on the checkered scarf he'd chosen to wear over his usual suit, one that he'd gotten back in his home city of Canalave, so it was rather precious to him, he'd began to stare around town, taking in what every spot looked like as much as he could.
That was what he was doing until he felt something smack into him while walking. "Mm..? I'm sorry." He moved away from the stranger. "That was my fault."
