Hello trainers of Rotumblr! My name is Dovewing, though recently twolegs have been calling me ‘Dove’. She/her, please.
I had only recently become a warrior of my clan, Thunderclan, when suddenly a strange creature appeared in the sky, and it all went… dark. I woke up near a twoleg- er, human house and was found by a very nice lady, who shockingly I was able to communicate with. She decided to take me in and teach me the ways of their world, and began saying that when human children reach a certain year (moon?) of age, they go off to become Pokémon Trainers.
..I think it’s a sign from Starclan.
My current team consists of Twigpaw the Thwackey, Raccoonsky the Obstagoon, Burrdust the Excadrill, Scruffypaw the Joltik, Snailstorm the Gastrodon, and Whirlburst the Torkoal.

this will be following the story of Pokémon Shield! Imagine Dovewing taking the role of the player character. Gloria still exists though, not Victor.
Stuff like Pelipper Mail, Dreams, Propaganda(?), etc are okay with me! Just assume anything minus M!As are chill, I’ll note when a boundary is crossed.
I use some aspects of Bonefall’s Clan Culture! A beautiful resource btw <3 I try to stay close to regular canon though for the story itself.. minus the Pokémon aspects btw. The blog takes place somewhere around Sign of the Moon and maybe early The Forgotten Warrior, so the big DF battle hasn’t happened yet.
Dovewing has any tags related to warrior cats/warrior skitties/whiscash warriors/etc blocked, and also 'dovewing don't look!'--she will not acknowledge posts with these tags unless @'d!

Ballonea is so pretty... and even one of the opposing trainers starting to warm up to me with her friend's insistence! Apparently there aren't many trainers still standing, but even so I can't be her 'main rival', whatever that means in this context haha.

ooc fun fact. originally dovewing was going to get a stuntank. i decided against it because 1) then i’d have obstagoon and stuntank and i am not going to steal pier’s thunder and 2) dovewing has a stronger nose

We ran from the zrt luxrays, the Dovewing. The Emberpaw fell through a hole into a cave--she cannot get up, zrt, and seems very out of it. She keeps crying for her mother, zrt. I do not think she knows where she is. You are a cat. Do you know how to help, zrt?
Her right front and back leg, zrt. She seems very out of it as well--as in, she does not know where she is, zrt. I am feeling quite awful about her crying. Zrt, I am unsure if I can leave her in this state...
Hopefully it was just landed on wrong and they’re not entirely broken. Is she close to water at all, or any kind of food?
…If it comes down to this.. and, absolutely ask her for her permission first, unless it’s that dire… you can speak, right? You’re not just limited to posting the words? …If it becomes too much, something neither of you can handle.. you could go to a human for help.

If it’s any help, Emberpaw, I.. admittedly did not understand the human concept of Transgender originally—still sounds like hedgehogs flying, sometimes, but so does the idea of taking a mate that’s not your opposite.
I used to think that our society was the normal one and it’s this new world that’s odd and new.. but the more you learn, the more you start to think… maybe the Clans were wrong about some things..
I’m blabbering too much, aren’t I? Don’t let me tear you down too much! Just.. keep an open mind to this new world, okay? No matter if it’s just twolegs- er, humans experimenting with their identities to feel more like themselves, or if it’s.. the things we were taught were the only way to live properly.
Anyways, how’s the fresh kill running (I know we don’t have our same diet anymore while we’re here, I’m trying my best)

Oh!!!! Dovewing!!!! Hi!!!! I...I dunno what the twolegs are doing, but I'm just super, super confused. I learned what a car is yesterday. They're the MONSTERS, and their hearts EXPLODE to make them move and they're so strange!!!! But...how can the Clans be wrong? Didn't StarClan decree it?
I guess the fresh-kill is...running. I still can't catch anything, but the luxray have been feeding me.

Yes, that’s the human term for Monsters! I don’t see many in Galar, only some variant of it called a “Tractor”. Most of this place is walking or biking paths, which is fine by me (even if bikes aren’t as scary as Monsters.. they still scare me sometimes..)
Starclan… can be wrong sometimes. I know you once said that in your time I’m hailed as a hero, but.. I’m barely older then you, right now. I became a Warrior only a few moons before I came here. I’ve been given my powers since before I was an apprentice. It.. can be a bit much. I’m not saying they’re entirely wrong, the Code exists for a reason!! I wouldn’t dare truly defy them!! But… sometimes you think. This journey has given me time to do that, and luckily my human companions Hop and Sonia are open to listen, even if Ivypool… tends not to agree with my ideas.
That’s good that they’re feeding you, at least! Sometimes my claws ache to hunt as well, but since anything close to what we’d consider prey is.. that, I’ve too grown used to getting help. Battling in the challenge has earned me some of these weird leaves though—Hop calls them Pokédollars—and I can now use them to mostly buy food for myself! (Still have to get Hop’s help so they even take me seriously… sigh)
And.. yes, in this world, humans can become mates with the opposite gender and it’s just.. okay. There’s even humans who choose to not get a mate at all, or even multiple mates! It’s all so.. unreal. I was just as shocked as you are, Sonia walked me through it.
…It’s so fantastical, sometimes I think that I’ll go to sleep and then be woken up for dawn patrol. Putting these.. freeing concepts behind me as I blink the sleep from my eyes.
There's variants of monsters??? Oh, I don't like that...why can't they all be cars? Like cats? It would be a lot similar...and less freaky.
But, you did stop the Dark Forest! You did that! You, and Lionblaze, and Jayfeather, StarClan did something right! They also brought Firestar, and they did a lot! And I might be young, but I've already fought in battles!!! So...StarClan must have sent me here for a reason.
The luxray also calls me deformed, cause they think I'm a weird shinx. I think they want to kill me but can't, so I'm gonna escape cause they scare me. I can figure out how to hunt, and I don't want some nasty twoleg near my food.
And that's weird. They can just do that??? They can have multiple mates???? Why???

Maybe just my attack from the giant beast granting me an ability to talk to them makes our situations different, but… yeah, I’ve walked in your pawsteps, there’s no way young me would’ve ever believed this, but we’re both in odd situations.

I had a dream last night, and I saw this giant glowing deer that looked like it got stuck in a twoleg border and it told me that I had to 'Stop the disaster that ia a thousand years in the making' and I dunno what that means but I received it so!!!!!
