Bowie: Have you ever seen a wine drunk 55-year-old woman dance on top of a baby grand to the tune of Holly Jolly Christmas?
Bowie: because I can guarantee that it'll be the funniest thing you'll see this year.
Dove: thats a lot to take in at once. and a specific scenario. is there a video i should be watching?

âwhat you should doâŚis what you know you wanna doâŚbut youâre not doing cause you donât think you should do it..â dylan smiled as she stood there. âbetter remember for next timeâŚâ feeling the arm slip around her waist she then looked into blue eyes and couldnât help it that her heart skipped a beat. who knew what they were doing, but it felt fucking amazing. her hand slowly ran up the girls shirt a little bit on her neck as she just took in doveâs features. âwhat do you wanna doâŚ.right nowâŚcause honestly, nothing is off limits when it comes to youâŚâÂ
"Youâre an enabler,â Dove accused her ex playfully, arching an eyebrow just as teasingly when Dylan mentioned that nothing was off limits. âWell, for starters, I do believe I was promised wine... was it a ploy to get me here?â She leaned in just enough to press a brief kiss against Dylanâs lips before reluctantly pulling away to take a look around, trying not to look too much like she was appraising the place.

âI donât know what it is about the holidays bringing more people to the hospital, but if I see one more person that blames Christmas for their injury, I might go insane,â the brunette shook her head as she looked over. âI had a guy blame his broken leg on finding the right place for the Elf on the Shelf doll. That better be a damn good hiding spot for that elf.â
Dove wanted to at least try to defend said people but she knew when it boiled down to it, it was all stupidity. âThank god I donât have to put up with that,â she answered, voice tinged with sympathy. âIs Christmas worse than New Years?â

Braxton was already in love with dove as he shook his little butt. she saw doves eyes moving down and then back up slowly cause she was doing the same thing. âis that right??â she chuckled after they parted their lips. âyou guessâŚyou didnât miss a beat when i asked..â dylan teased as she let her hand slowly move down her arm. âwell iâm also not sure why you havenât called me yetâŚif you get bored you could really get bored with me over hereâŚ.â the two of them when they were together didnât leave each others side.Â
A satisfied little smile spread across Doveâs face. âI guess itâs just- this is taking some getting used to. I donât know... what I should and shouldnât do.â It was as close to talking about what the hell they were doing as the blonde had come so far and she still felt strange about talking about it. âIâll remember for next time though.â Her arm gently wound around Dylanâs waist, prying her gaze away from where it had landed on the pup to meet her exâs eyes again.

âHonestly, Iâm up for anything. Going to a movie, going to volunteer somewhere, going shopping. I just need to get out.â
"Oh, going shopping. Easiest choice Iâve made,â Dove joked, a grin spreading across her face. âI need some new clothes. All my shitâs going out of style.â
ftwmechanicdylanâ:
dylan was cleaning fast as she quickly skated herself into the bathroom to touch up anything. dove could make her heart race when she didnât want it too. hearing the door, dylan perked up and then laughed. braxton ran over to dove and the little corgi started to sniff at her. walking out, trying to calm herself. she shouldnât dive back into this, but she couldnât help the way she was feeling since dove came back. seeing the blonde, dylan stopped and smiled with a tilt of her head. âhi..next time iâll make sure and run into your arms..howâs that?â walking over she stood infront of the blonde taking her all in. leaning in she kissed doveâs lips. âiâm glad you came over..âÂ
Practically beaming at the sight of a dog, Dove stooped down to briefly pay the pup some attention until Dylan came out, immediately standing up straight again at the sight of her. âHey,â she greeted, unable to stop herself from giving her ex an appreciative once over before leaning in for the kiss that she knew was coming. âMm, Iâll count on it,â she murmured as she pulled away, offering up a playful grin. âMe too. Honestly, staring at the same walls in my apartment every day was starting to drive me insaneâIâm happy to be here. And I missed you too, I guess.â
loveabrahamsâ:
âSorry Iâve been MIA, I went to a speech therapy campâŚmy stutter is g-goneâŚwell mostly g-goneâ Bram said as he smiled widely, a confidence about him that had never been there before.
"Hey, thatâs incredible!â The confidence wasnât hard to see but Dove figured sheâd ask anyway. âDo you feel much different? Better, hopefully?â
andreaxmartinâ:
âSo, I actually have some time offâŚplease, tell me you feel up for doing something fun. I canât even remember the time I used some vacation days to just relax and come out of hiding.â
"I guess that depends on what youâre idea of fun is,â Dove answered with a playful grin. âBut yeah, Iâve got the next couple of days off. Whatâd you have in mind?â
ftwmechanicdylanâ:
dylan was walking around and cleaning up her place really quick. it wasnât crazy messy but just some loose clothes and some puppy toys laying around. she was nervous, excited and everything else. the two of them only had gotten really together outside of where they live, and downstairs in the shop is where they kissed it made dylan blush thinking about when they first met up again. she only had drinks but she honestly just missed dove too much to think about food. she shouldnât miss her as much as she did but her heart was pounding and the necklace she had on burned a little bit but in a good way. texting dove she then smiled. âyou can come on in, the door is open :)âÂ
It took Dove a minute to realize she had been texted again but when she did, she was happy to let herself in albeit a little slower than she wanted to, if only to make sure she didnât come off as painfully eager. âI expect a very enthusiastic greeting at the door next time I come âround,â she called out playfully, unsure of where Dylan was, as she slipped her shoes off and nudged them neatly out of the way.
No matter how many times she coached herself through not taking anything seriously with Dylan, Dove couldnât stop herself from leaping at every single chance she had to spend time with her ex. What she was doing, she had no ideaâshe figured it was only a matter of time until she ruined everything again, but at least she could enjoy things while they lasted. Pushing those thoughts to the back of her mind once she reached Dylanâs place, Dove gave a few knocks before she waited, realizing that maybe she really should have brought something along with her. At the very least, she had money to order food if it came to that. // @ftwmechanicdylan

âI think Iâm inept to scary movies. I feel like Iâve watched all the classics and theyâre not as scary as everyone says and the new ones are just gory. Help me out? I can only watch Halloween so many times.âÂ
"Honestly? My go-to scary movies are never... scary. I love Trick râ Treat and- well, I guess Krampus I usually save for Christmas but... I like that one too. Have you ever seen those VHS movies?â

dylan: pretty much, the faster you get here...the better off i'll be..
dove: i'm leaving now babe, i'll see you soon

Tracy looked at the little paper, confused until she explained it. âOi, âs a great idea!â He grinned, tucking it into the breast pocket of his old flannel. âI mean I can do it if I need to. âs not what Iâd prefer, but anythinâ would be better than nothinâ, yeah?â He grinned. âThanks, love. Thaâs a huge help. Yâdonât know how much I needed some kinda lead.â
Dove offered up a little shrug at the thank you. While she no longer had to worry about finding a job to keep herself off the street, she was at least familiar with the panic that came from not having enough money and backing herself into a corner. âYou said youâd paint houses and clean up leaves, right? Anything else youâd prefer?â
txt; dove đ
dylan: if you wanna bring something you can, but i really just need you tbh. but if you wanna you can pick something up.
dove: in that case ill just come over. the faster i get there the better, right?
txt; dove đ
dylan: i miss you..come over?? i can have some wine for us, food...or something...i just miss you...
dove: i miss you too babe. you dont need me to bring anything with me?? i can pick something up on the way, if you want.

He blew smoke out of the corner of his mouth, stubbing the cigarette out and tucking it into a pocket so he didnât waste the little piece that was left. âTryinâ to make a slogan so I can get a job. I thought maybe a sign I could post on poles around the city. I can do odd jobs, clean up leaves, paint houses. Get a bit of money tâkeep my flat.â He explained.
With a thoughtful little hum, Dove fished through her purse for a pen and paper, scribbling down the address for her apartment building before offering it out. âWhen you figure it out, put something up here. Thereâs gonna be a bunch of people moving out at the end of the month and nobody likes moving their own shit, if youâre into manual labor. I dunno if itâll work but... itâs something?â
