As many were, Lilith was born from the waters of the grid. An ISO. As many others did, her existence horrified the masses. It encouraged her to learn about the world without the help of most programs. She made a name for herself with light-cycle racing. This, paired with her identity, disturbed the peace of many. It eventually resulted in her and her circle being detained and taken into the games as punishment. While Lilith proved she was worth her salt, she lost both of her arms in the process. She was extracted from the area to be fully derezzed in private, but her executioner was no program of CLU's. Lilith was instead taken into the outlands where she received prosthetic arms, and a shiny new network of freedom fighters. Flynn lived. Lilith rebuilt her career as a racer, dawning an odd shade of orange that could've easily been mistaken for red; an intentional tactic to fly low under patrols. She was nicknamed "Flare" by authorities, but those who cried her cause know her as LITH.
