Hi there. I would like to purchase a pair of dr martens for my husband and i am coming to Brisbane in 2 weeks. Its for a gift for his birthday. He used to have a pair when he was in his 20s but they were stolen. I wanted to surprise him with a pair but im not sure what size to get. He is a 10/11 AU mens and i do recall him saying his old ones were a 10UK would this be correct?

Hiya!!  Hope that we’re not really stupidly late with response here, 10UK is the same as Aussie sizes so like most steel caps 10 = UK 10 BUT sneakers genuerally are UK 10=US 11/12... We guarantee our fit though, but something feels familiar, like I think I may have served you when you were in here, possibly someone with a similar request.  However if its not tooo late I’d love to assist you in getting the best pair, we also exchange on Gifted Dr Martens!!  Weehoo! Hi Angelus, So very sorry we only have 4UK and 6UK left available, they do run really large, I tried to fit the 6uk (my usual size) and it was massive.  So there could be options for smaller shape fit, if you aren’t 100% sure on the UK 5 size. If you are not local I can measure the UK 4 length for you! If of course you have tried on a few and that’s definitely good for you then, don’t settle for smaller or bigger they’ll hurt...
