Fetuses are children

Children are sentient, conscious, subjective and bodily autonomous people.  Fetuses are not.

We need to worry about the born children who are suffering now, rather than worrying about fetuses that don’t have the capacity to suffer.

Fetuses don’t feel pain until the third trimester, if that. It’s highly likely they can’t feel pain because they are a) unconscious (yes, hey become conscious at birth) and b) the uterus probably keeps them anesthetized until birth.  

Most abortions happen in the first trimester.

Around 18-22 days after conception, the heart begins to beat.  After around 6 weeks, the child's facial features are formed.  Brain activity is detected after about 6-7 weeks.  The child is considered a fetus around the 8th week.  By ten weeks, the child can officially move.  So, they are alive, are they not?  

Well, it depends on what you consider alive.  Most people consider a beating heart a sign of life.  Brain activity is also a sign.  So, shouldn't a fetus with a beating heart and brain activity be considered a human being with human rights?  

It is not the mother's, father's, sibling's or doctor's job to decide if a child should live.  It is that child's decision.  A mother does not have two bodies, she has one.  She is just carrying another body until (s)he can live on his/her own.  A mother should care about their child, not murder them.  

Murder is the premeditated killing of one human being by another.  When a doctor kills a fetus (who should be considered a human being due to brain activity and a pulse), (s)he murders them.  (s)he ends a human life.  (S)He is taking a future away from a child.  If the child was just a few weeks older, then it would be considered murder, wouldn't it?

So, where is that line?  Where is the line between just a jumble of cells and a living being?  I believe that line was crossed in the womb.  

Supposedly, fetuses respond differently to strangers' voices and familiar voices.  Studies also show that after ten weeks, they can tell the difference between their native language and a foreign language.

Just because they don't feel pain doesn't mean they aren't alive.

I suppose you could argue this either way. See with all hierarchies things get lost and twisted through the grapevine. Soldiers are given a goal they need to achieve but not necessarily told the means in which they are expected to achieve it. Zach may have just seen his methods as necessary to winning the war against Lucifer and not of any great evil. So yes while his methods were more extreme, you cannot lay the blame at Michaels feet without knowing he actively allowed Zach to bully and torture his vessel. As for Luci over there. You can look at that as being more caring and honorable to the angel way by talking to Sam about the importance of consent. Or you could look at is as the silver tongued devil trying to worm his way into Sam’s life using a friendly approach because Sam fights monsters all the time, so if lucifer showed up and started pouring blood of of cradles or setting things on fire Sam would run a mile rather than ever consider allowing Lucifer into his life. This is a very subjective topic. but basically all angels can be a bag of dicks, or they cannot. What i find interesting is their parallels to humanity. They are not perfect, neither are we. There is potential for corruption in all angels. I find that an awesome concept.
