Did you know that if your popcorn ceilings have been certified asbestos-free by a lab after submitting a sample, it's pretty easy to scrape it off yourself? We bought a garden pump sprayer to spritz the popcorn texture with a mixture of water and dishsoap. Then you just wait for it to soak in and scrape it. Or have your husband scrape it. That works too.
