He's Kicking / Derek & Meredith
"He can probably understand the tone of voice. And moaning at him probably isn’t appreciated." Derek teased gently, giving Meredith a small grin. He looked back down at her stomach and spoke to her belly once more. "I know you’re getting big and strong in there but I cannot wait to meet you. I’m your Daddy and you have a big sister, Zola. And a dog called Dog. Quite unoriginally."
"Easy for you to say. You don't have a stomach the size of a watermelon, and a uterus that's being kicked in repeatedly." She couldn't help but smile a little at Derek's words to their son, and she began to relax slightly as the movement inside of her calmed even more. "He's stopped," she said with a sigh of relief. "Finally. Thank you." She picked up half of her sandwich and held it out to her husband. "Here. I bet you haven't eaten yet with all of that paperwork."
