So I have a new obsession!

Low key part of a Misunderstanding AU im thinking of where Robert has a 3rd secret identity as a much more violent vigilante. Going for the vibe where the public gave him a 3rd persona because no one expects mecha man to curbstomp a villain on a tuesday night. And then the “i dont know why i bite” vibe because hes traumatized from being a normal dude fighting supes. Then getting balckmailed by Blazer into joining the pheonix program in exchange for not going to prison for unnecessary use of force when fighting villains and you know man-slaughter to prevent ruining the mecha-man legacy would be wild. I feel like it would explain why he was more reluctant to contact Chase or ask him for help if he was assamed of commiting crimes to survive being mechaman. Love me some feral Robert. Might write a fan fic?
