A shot came through one of the windows, hitting each of the parents, both let out a shriek of agony before they disappeared into two glowing red balls.

Meena retrieved the orbs, the other figures started to dissipate into thin air, before following them out to the car. The other three approached, Bronwen winced at the sight before pulling a multi tool from her pocket.

The managed to get the staples and thread out with relative quickness, freeing Ciphers mouth as they gasped and sobbed, burying their face into Isa's shoulder.

A shot came through one of the windows, hitting each of the parents, both let out a shriek of agony before they disappeared into two glowing red balls.
