So the other day I was listening to folklore And tbh the album is so aesthetic...it gives me beautiful vibes, vibes which cannot be worded... I'm in love with the vibes of all the songs.. Is just AESTHETIC in form of MUSIC.
So anyways here are the vibes i got from some songs
if seen as a love song...its completely...Annabeth's ode to percy..
Esp the line "and when i felt i was an old cardigan under someone's bed you put me on and said i was your favourite"
"but i knew you'd like like a tattoo kiss"
(lets ignore the hinting or refering to betrayals or break ups cos they ain't goin thru that shit and i already told I'm viewing this as not a betrayal but a love song so..)
full on jason piper vibes..
Just not in an angry way.. In a sad way...
strong jason vibes in these lines (not in anger..but in sorrow..like he is sad he had to leave her forever and won't be able to see her. )
"cos i loved you to my dying day"
"i didn't have it in myself to go with grace" the pun is real in this one
you wear the same jewels that i have you as you bury me"
" Cos when I'd fight you'd tell me i was brave"

And later when they are older them dancing on this together late at night under the star studded sky
Esp i can imagine percy singing {and laughing} "your dad is mad ...then you don't have to cry or hide in that closet and just like a folk song our love would be passed on"
WAIT A MINUTE, ANNABETH CAN SING THAT TOO BECAUSE: GABE! it would be more relevant cos "your dad is mad"...
Either way round this line fits for both Percy n annabeth
PERCABETH VIBES when the song STARTS with "salt air and the rust on your door i dont need anything more"..
THIS makes me imagine annabeth opening the door to a sleeping percy in future in the montauk cabin where his mom n dad met.
"You weren't mine to lose" and "cos you weren't mine" gives me Jason n piper vibes.
And so does the latter part of the song. Enough said.
Its like my tears Ricochet was sung from jason to piper (not in an angry way... In a sad way)
idk why i am relating a lot to this song
ESPECIALLY THE LINES "my words shoot to kill when im mad..I HAVE A LOT OF REGRET ABT THAT"

percy singing this to annabeth vibes..warms my heart...
Cos i rly imagine percy telling her loves her but he's danger and even tho he will bring trouble without wanting to...
He'll always love her no matter what.. Its like..
He warns her about the danger he is to yet says he'll protect her at all costs.
I feel when he'll sing ONLY these two lines THE FIRST TIME "but you got a friend in me" and "you paint dreamscapes on the wall" he'll look at rachel and laugh cos it gives me percy-rachel friendship vibes..
and cos he's a sweet friend and while even tho he's dedicating a song to his gf he would also mention his friends when needed cos percy's a sweetheart.

This is true and you know it.
its giving me Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace vibes..
its cos of two old souls falling in love and planning of running away to a place far away beyond thr grasp of earthly boundaries..
