The full cast for the bs1 au I'm writing, actual title still pending.
But it's going real well, and I think I can go ahead and reveal some stuff, especially since I already have when it comes to Yakko.
In rough summary, the Warners get bought by another studio, in Rapture, after their performance begins to...deteriorate. For a while, things seem better, until the city falls to civil war, of course...
He's in rough shape upon arrival in the city, though he refuses to tell his siblings why. He recovers, eventually mocking Andrew Ryan in standup, and some time after, disappears. Wakko and Dot search for him, but aren't able to find a trace of him; all travel in the city gets locked down while the younger siblings are out searching, and they both get stranded in different parts of the city.
Eventually, the younger siblings do find Yakko again, but under a form of mind control, being used as Andrew Ryan's living weapon. When his siblings first encounter him again, they aren't certain he can remember them...
He gets stranded in the Medical Pavilion, and spends the next three years trying to rig a bathosphere to take him to Arcadia, the last place he knows Dot to be. He refuses to believe Yakko is gone, fully intending to search for him once he finds Dot. He also uses his mechanical skills to repurpose gun turrets and hack vending machines for defense and food.
He's unable to make the bathosphere work, on account of the genetic locks placed on the public bathoshperes. Desperate, upon meeting Jack, Wakko convinces Jack to help him. Even better, Jack is able to bypass the genetic lock on the bathosphere...
She gets stuck in Arcadia, and becomes a bit of a feral wild child, adopting stealth tactics and a pair of knives to defend herself. Unlike Wakko, she has much less faith that Yakko is still alive, and until she reunites with Wakko, is beginning to think Wakko might not be either.
The lone plane crash survivor, he ends up coerced into helping a man named Atlas to save his family. After this goes wrong, he's roped into killing Andew Ryan, told that doing so will give him a way out of the city. He's plagued by odd flashbacks while traveling through the city, and upon taking plasmids, starts undergoing some strange...physical changes.
What is the reason he ends up a lion? Possibly even a toon lion? That's going to stay a secret for the fic.
He also quickly gets attatched to Wakko and Dot.
Wakko in particular reminds him of a dog. Except he doesn't think he ever had a dog...
The bear's name is going to stay a mystery, because it's a reveal i'd prefer to stay a surprise. For now - he was unjustly imprisoned and experimented on, and spent many years wishing to escape and find his family.
He ends up stuck in the area of Fort Frolic, and eventually has to take to sneaking into the main plaza sometimes for food. Sander Cohen, wanting a toon for a 'disciple' finds this irritating as he can's convince the bear to cooperate. Being a toon bear, he has a way of coming and going from the crazed artist's territory as he pleases...
Kind of hoping adding all these bios will get more ppl into this au and looking forward to it. Especially those out there who also really like dark themes and heavy angst (with a eventual good ending ofc)
