they're not even respecting the choices of their "favorite artists", robert smith was obviously very happy to do smth with olivia and vice versa!

most of the olivia hate is rooted in misogyny tough, it's mostly toxic people who think that just bc she's a woman doing pop music she can't actually be a fan of the cure and that she doesn't "deserve" him??? it's so weird to think that way... and we can see how much olivia loves the cure so all the people going like "she has no idea how lucky she is" stfu yes she does and just because she's a young woman doesn't mean she has no culture... it really shows us what view society has on young women and girls and that didn't evolve a lot, if olivia was a man everybody would be like "oh so cute i'm sure he has been a big fan for a long time!!"... the double standard is insane

the robert smith hate is also tiring it's just people thinking that just because they don't know someone that means their music is bad...

both of them are incredible people and artists and i'm SO happy they did smth together i screamed when i saw it 😭 i've loved the cure since i've been a kid and i love olivia rodrigo sm too their voices go SO well together omg i can't waittttttt the album comes out in 4 hours AAAAAAAA
