fuck it. be creative even if you never really *make* anything. write out plot synopses of stories and then move on. design OCs you'll never use. make mood boards and concept art and don't do anything with them. life's too short to forget everything that inspired you and creation doesn't have to be "complete" to be worth the time you put into it.

Since Finnegan is one of my current favorites, we are going with him...

1. Finn is the elf prince of the Sylvan elves. They are often also called The Wild Elves by the other tribes and races in Whimsy Hollow, due to their woodland and more reclusive nature.

2. Although Finn is 80 years old, he is still considered young for his race. His age is equivalent to that of a human young adult, roughly around the age of 18 to 19 years old.

3. All Sylvan elves are capable of base forms of nature magic, but Finn’s manipulation of earth magic is almost unsurpassed among his people. However, most people wouldn’t want to get in the way of his sword or bow either.

4. Finn’s best friend is the Faerie Prince, Lyre. A friendship that causes his people some concern, as faeries are typically ambiguous, mischievous, and self-serving by nature. A Sylvan elf’s magic is affected by their emotional state, which can be both a boon and a bane. And the faeries, with their control of empathic type magic, are capable of projecting emotions onto their victims. A Sylvan elf sent into a frenzied state by a faerie could cause irrevocable damage.

5. Finn has a pet fox name Sya. In the traditions of the Sylvan elves, Sya was gifted to Finn the day he was born, and she has been his faithful companion since. The Sylvan form a spirit bond with their pets, causing the pet's life to be directly linked to its master’s.
