As an avid reader I love all things book but it's not uncommon to catch me with my favorites: The Cruel Prince, Skyward, The Grishaverse books, LOTR, and let us not forget The Paper Magician. A fantasy buff on the surface I am a hopeless romantic at heart and die for those sappy subplots. Like bro got seperate from his family and nearly lost himself in the Land of monsters where he also a valuable ally because he didnt stay focused.

Then he gets back only to find Lloyd has to stop merge quakes now then leaves to find nya and the others where he gets swept up into a bunch more madness.

Then they reunite kai gets separated from them AGAIN because of the ritual spell trapping him and bonzle.

They find out jay doesn't remember any of them and his sister is all sad now.

Then he nearly loses Lloyd in the fight against big chaos dragon guy. Then loses Cole after trying to warn him not to behave like he used to.

THEN nearly loses Nya in that cave THEN their powers start messing up again as we know how he feels about his powers messing up AND THEN they all get separated super far away from eachother in which land we believe is the land of monsters where he would have to face the trauma and tell nya about it.

DUDE IS SO OVER DUE FOR A CRASH OUT ITS NOT FUNNY. like he's been the most stable ninja on the team for the past few years cause of the merge and its gotta be taking its toll on him. I mean lloyds started cracking a bit the earlier seasons so I won't be surprised if we finally get that kai crashout.

1. 'It's fiction, it doesn't need to make sense!'

2. 'I didn't account for the rotation of the planet and how that affects the constalations while my characters stargazed at different times of year, I have failed as a writer, and this entire thing is trash'

Honestly? My main piece of advice for writing well-rounded characters is to make them a little bit lame. No real living person is 100% cool and suave 100% of the time. Everyone's a little awkward sometimes, or gets too excited about something goofy, or has a silly fear, or laughs about stupid things. Being a bit of a loser is an incurable part of the human condition. Utilize that in your writing.
