Tried again at a full dragon :)
So this guy is absolutely shaped batter! much better! I'm happy with how the back legs came out, although they could be shaped a little better. I do have other stuff to work on however
Also the simple hatch pattern as rough scales look really nice :) and I tried a new eye shape. it didn't work out well but I know why and how to improve it, so we'll see in the future how that goes :)
Anyways. I know what needs improving. gotta work on that.
Legs and Arms!
So this is how far I got before the side of my hand and my elbow started aching :/ using parts of my body I so rarely use I guess. Next time I have some alone time Imll try doing another page of arms and legs
Also don't worry about the feet and hands. I'll deal with those later, I have more important things to focus on. No unsolicited art advice.
I guess the next steps would be to study horse anatomy, as that'll cover much of a typical Western European Dragon's shape
And with me being that type of dragon, it's only logical to start off trying to draw myself

Well I got those wings down easy, just struggling on connecting them. Tail, backside, and head outline was pretty easy, and you can see the start of a back leg. Working on getting the belly to work so I can add the front leg.
I am not happy with how the legs connect, the rear foot is massive, and the wing connection point bothers me a lot
but☝️I did connect them. And I did draw them. One must start from somewhere, and I am /finally/ doing that
And here I am calling it. First full dragon ever created by me. For a beginner, I'm OK with this :) I hated every moment but the end results is passable for my skill level 💙 Next step is to now break down every section and draw just those bits. This was a great exercise to see where I need to improve.

About 14 years and this is the best I can draw
On one hand; nice that I haven't lost any talents
On the other tho, I've made zero improvements
Of course, in order to improve, I need to practice. And having the time AND energy to practice is NOT cheap.
So maybe one day I'll improve. Maybe not. Who knows. This took 5 minutes btw
003 #2BY1CHALLENGE
Missed last week because I was sick the whole week :( Woke up Monday Evening with the Flu (thanks to my loving partner who got it but two days prior and gave it to me), then I just forgot to make one in time for Monday. Thankfully i specifically stated it wouldn't be EVERY single day, otherwise I'd stress myself out from wanting to continue once I missed one day. Boy would that have been bad or what?
Anyways, a sunset! So like, I had no reference image for this, I just chose colors and called it a day. Really should have used a color reference, but in any case I like how it turned out. It feels more natural than the first two at least.
I missed Wednesday, but here's Friday, on time! I. .. Well They're really not as detailed as I'd hope I would get them. Granted I'm used to 32x32 spaces, and this is 8 times bigger than that, but I'd still would like to get them more detailed. Hopefully by the end of February I'll reach that goal ):

HI! long time no chat :)
Last time I actively drew I still had a working tablet pen. Well, I still have that tablet and that pen, but last 2022 I jerry-rigged it to be somewhat working. And now I want to get back to my silly pixels.
SO! I’m starting a challenge at myself. Posting it online because then I can’t back down (: 3 days a week, I want to post a small picture. Canvas size 128x64 pixels. Color pallet unlimited. Starting theme “Scenery”. Calling it the #2BY1CHALLENGE and will be tagging it as such. Posting will be Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 8PM EST (gives me about 20 hours to have the first one ready and scheduled).
Can I do it? God I hope :( I miss being able to call myself an artist . ..
This year, 2021, I’m going to force myself to enjoy art stuff that I used to love, starting off with Cross Stitching
This here is an unfinished piece that my Mother found at a thrift store. There are many things missing, lots of stitches wrong, and the heart is the wrong pink, but nothing I can’t fix on the fly. Lets see if I can finish this work
I just had a revelation . ....
All these years of making icons and stuff . .. I always thought there was only one specific 256 color pallet for the older computers . .. turns out not only is there NOT one specific color pallet, but past the default OS's 16 color pallet, programs can fill in the other 236 colors to be whatever they want it to be . .. all this time I've been using this one specific pallet thinking it's the only one
I can make my OWN 256 color pallet . .. really improve the colors on my icons . .. I don't know if I'm pissed at myself for taking literal years to realise my mistake, or if I'm pleased that I can make a better pallet with better shading for my stuff
Life Update
I’m still doing the daily drawings! I haven’t missed any right now However my Wifi Router died back on Friday and I haven’t been able to upload anything due to that :( So they exist! I just can’t upload them right now. I promise I’m not behind tho! I’m still goin’ pretty good despite my predictions
January 18th, 2019 Another CD icon, this time I made the CD-ROM edit. till got a lotta to make, maybe this weekend I’ll have the time/energy to churn out the rest
January 17th, 2019 A license plate! The current default one for Tennessee as of I do believe 2006? I’ve been needing a large-scale letter practice for a while, and OOHH BBOOYYYY was this a challenge. The 6 and 9 in the plate numbers were hard for the part that sticks out, but what took me the longest, at almost two hours, was the cursive Tennessee at the top. I hated it. I couldn’t even copy//paste the E’s as I made it cause it wouldn’t align. after I made the 6 in the H68 part I copy/pasted it for the two nines because they had the exact same shape. But no, I had to draw out each individual letter in the Tennessee part and it was real pain. My back hurts, and I am physically exhausted All that aside, it turned out great! I love it! This just happend to be based off the plate that used to be on my Green car before it became mine. I still have it, along with a few other plates, and used it as a physical reference. I don’t like digital references btw. All the floppies, ZIP disks, and other things I’ve made on here? Physical references. I avoid digital whenever I can This project was a big one, and I’m glad I got to do it. Maybe I’ll do more one day! Other states, that hopefully don’t have such complex cursive. It was a great practice tho on big letters! the arm of the six is the only thing that gave me trouble in H6899P, and everything else was mostly easy! The Tennessee logo might need some work on it tho And lastly, I saved a blank plate version of this, so that I can make edits of it another time should I want to.
