Official Dragonslayer week 2024

Greetings, and salutations everyone, we’re happy to announce that Dragonslayer week is here again. We have the prompts set up, and will be posting regularly to drum up support. Below will be the rules, and the prompts with their days. The days are from July 25th to August 1st.

Rules:

1. Posts must be Dragonslayer centric. You can have secondary and background ships, but Dragonslayer is the focus..

2. No bashing of characters or other ships. We mean it. If you hate or think less of a character or a certain ship, leave it out of the submissions.

3. All posts welcome for this. You can post art, shitposts, fanfics, mood boards, edits, gifsets, etc. The sky is the limits.

4. Please have the tag #dragonslayerweek within the first 5 tags of your post. Also tag this blog so we can reblog your posts.

5. All posts on tumblr must be SFW, any NSFW posts will be on the discord server.

6. Please warn people for all extreme content.

Themes:

July 27. Gamers — Jaune and/or Yang are gamers who bond over a shared game. It could be they’re both competitive players for FPS games, friendly rivals in Pokémon, friends who met in an MMO, or just met in a chill gaming session.

July 28. Yang’s Birthday — It’s Yang’s birthday how will our couple celebrate?

July 29. Way of the Househusband — Jaune decided to be a Househusband, his adventures in domestic life with a highly adventurous wife.

July 30. Hobbies — Bonding over or trying to understand their significant other’s hobby.

July 31. Camp Halfblood — They’re Demi-Gods who are attending camp halfblood, and fall for each other. Don’t make Jaune a son of the big 3, like seriously come on be creative.

Aug 1. Intervention — Their friends are tired of them for doing some annoying couple thing and are trying to get them to stop.

Aug 2. Bar AU — Like a coffee shop AU only more mature. One could be a bartender helping the other through a rough day, or they’re single who met in a bar.

Aug 3. Free Day — Do what you want

This is fun, it could be they meet in a bar, one works there, one owns it, or just them going to a bar. Either way this is gonna be more fun than meeting at a coffee shop

Confronting the Blonds

Yang was whistling a small tune as she made her way towards Team JNPR's dorm room, as she and Jaune would be having a nice movie date. But once she entered the room, she was met with not only Team JNPR but also her team as well. They were sitting down in chairs in a circular motion, talking with Jaune as he looked annoyed about something.

Yang: Uh...am I interrupting something?

As Yang spoke, everyone turned to look at her with Ruby speaking first.

Ruby: Hey sis, we were just starting without you. Come, sit down. It's really important that you and Jaune are here to hear this.

Yang: What's this about?

Yang sat down in an empty seat next to Jaune, who she could see was agitated for something.

Ruby: So, we're all here today because we wanna confront you both on your...noisy nature.

Yang looked at Jaune confused who only shrugged his shoulders in response.

Yang: Yeah...we got no clue what you mean Rubes.

Weiss: Oh please, everyone can hear your muffled screams and how the walls shake from god knows what!

Ren: We can endure most of your stuff together since you keep it at a moderately low volume, but your alone time has to be private for us to endure that too.

Nora: Yeah! As much as I wanna be an Aunt, I don't wanna hear it daily!

Yang and Jaune were more confused on what their friends were getting at before the thought finally clicked in both their brains, then came the horrifying realization on what they were talking about. And it wasn't even close to what they were doing.

Jaune: OH gods- You guys got it all wrong! So, so, far off!!

Yang: Yeah! I mean, we're both still young for crying out loud! Not that I wouldn't mind having a family with Jaune, but it's not that!

Pyrrha: Then mind telling us what you do are doing alone together to make such a racket?

Yang: Uh...

Jaune: Er...

~Flash back~

Jaune and Yang are in a heated sparring match in RWBY's dorm room, which Yang trying to pin Jaune towards the wall but Jaune moving out of the way quick enough for Yang to bang against it, leaving a dent from the impact.

Yang: Hah! You're getting better at dodging Lover Boy, now show me what you're made of and try to hit me!

Jaune: Oh, believe me, You'll see just how much I've improved!

Jaune then charges at Yang as she held her arms out wide, grabbing a hold of the blitzing Jaune as they both were sent to the floor, making the room shake.

~End of Flash back~

Yang: ...

Jaune: ...yeah. That's what we were doing...

As they both explained their situation to their friends, they were all left appalled and embarrassed on what their first thought was to them being so aggressive and loud.

After this, not even one person spoke about it as one after another, they fled the room. Leaving the blond couple alone together.

Daughter of Helios and Son of Athena

(Idk much about Camp half-blood so bear with me please...)

During their stay at camp, many of the kids there decided to greet themselves and get to know each other and which cabin they are from. This brings us to two different individuals making a quick bond as soon as they've met one another.

Yang was walking around the area, looking at every other kids socializing in groups around their cabins. As her eyes wandered, they set on one lone boy who was reading a book by himself, so she thought to introduce herself to him.

Yang: Hi!

Jaune: AH- O-Oh. Hey...

Yang: What's your name?

Jaune: I'm Jaune, and...you are?

Yang: Yang! I'm from cabin 239, daughter of Helios actually!

Jaune: Oh, that's awesome!

Yang: I know right? Which cabin are you froma?

Jaune: Oh, I'm from this one, cabin 6. I guess I'm the Son of Athena.

Yang: Woooah, that's super cool!

Jaune: Heh, thanks.

Yang: No problem, wanna be friends?

Jaune: Uh, sure. Wanna see what I've been writing in here? It's battle strategies and such.

Yang: Sure!

As the two socialize, they both didn't know this would spark into a undying relationship between the two. As this was faith written in stone that they would be a powerful duo together...

Dragonslayer week 2024 Day 5: Camp Half-Blood AU.

Here's my spin on Yang and Jaune if they were in the Percy Jackson Universe.

Yang: Daughter of Hephaestus, the Greek god of Fire, Craftsmanship, Blacksmithing.

Yang was born disfigured, not developing a right forearm. Upon this discovery, Raven abandoned her child. Hephaestus took pitty on his Half-bood child and crafted her a magical prosthetic. Yang grew to take after her father, working as a weaponsmith at Camp Half-blood where she met and eventually fell for fellow demigod Jaune

Jaune: Son of Athena, the Greek Goddess of Wisdom, Warfare and the Crafts.

Jaune grew up with high expectations placed upon him due to Athena's reputation and prowess in combat. When he arrived at Camp Half-blood, it was hard for him to escape the shadow of his mother. These expectations he'd often fall short of, and it was common for Jaune to be socially outcast due to this.

Yang and Jaune have been a bit annoying as a couple doing certain things and their friends all sit down to have an intervention because they’re getting concerned and tired of their antics

DragonSlayer Week 2024: Way of the House Husband

I couldn't resist doing an entry for this one. I just had to draw Yang and Jaune as Miku and Tatsu from Way of the Househusband :P

Day 3 Way of the Househusband

Jaune decided to take over the domestic duties of the Dragonslayer home. What’s their lives like in that regard?

Day 2 — Yang’s birthday!!!

It’s Yang’s birthday and she can celebrate however she wants with her man by her side!

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY YANG!"

As everyone shouted out those words simultaneously, the fiery brawler for team RWBY was trying to remain cool but couldn't for the life of her hold back the falling tears as she smiled at her friends and family wishing her a happy birthday. As she blew out the candles, everyone decided it was now time to let loose.

Ruby and Weiss were dancing together, with Blakr and Sun cuddling against one another on a nearby couch. Yang saw her uncle Qrow who was trying to feed cake towards Winter who just smirked at him, surprisingly he was sober after what she said back. Ren was keeping Nora in check and failing, as Nora was three slices deep already and trying to pick a fight with Cardin...who was there for some reason. And everyone else they've known on a tolerable level were there too.

All except for someone she really expected for them to be the first to say and end with saying it on her birthday. She knew he had to work late, but the best he'd do is a voice call or send some kind of gift to her, but she guesses that was too much for him to do, on her birthday no less. Yang became more irritated on that fact before that anger turned quite quickly into sadness, and those tears of joy almost became tears in general.

Almost though, as she got a text from her boyfriend telling her to come outside for a surprise. She didn't waste any time slipping away from the party and running towards the front entrance of the apartments they were staying at. Once she opened those double doors, she saw that bright smile and almost same blond colored hair as her waiting. What made Yang almost squeal was what was besides him though.

It was her motor bike, bumblebee. Tuned up and modified. Her yellow paint was scratched last time she saw it, but now it's a freshly new coat. It even had her and his emblem merged together on the tail. Then there was the new set of wheels, chains, the seat looked especially new, and it was just...so amazing she ran up to him and kissed him for what felt like an hour.

She finally let go of him as he looked dazed at her from the kiss, but wasn't complaining about it either. She thanked him profusely on what he did, to which he just said her sister helped him out abit. But that didn't matter to Yang, as long as the man of her dreams was here, she wouldn't give it up entirely.

Since it is Yang's birthday, Jaune has to leave her something special in Spider-Arc. How about a big web that says Happy Birthday Yang on it? Maybe heart shape around it to make it more romantic.

Spider-Arc: "Happy Birthday, Yang!"

*The masked hero presents a large web tapestry that has the words 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YANG' in a heart shape*

Yang: *tears up happily* "Oh, Lover Boy! You didn't have to!"

Spider-Arc: *rubs the back of his head* "Well, it is your birthday, babe."
