Drake sighed as he felt his daughters little hands rest on his side “The fans are.” he said softly sighing “They knew all along I was biting off more than I could chew.”

Drake laid his head on her lap and sighed “I feel like I didn’t do good enough, mama, it was my job to carry the show.” he said softly

Mads picked Harlow up to the best of her ability and carried her to the theater. “Baby boy.”

“dadda.” Harlow said “Oh sorry, I was just thinking about somethin’, hi mama.” he said “You didn’t have to come, I’m okay.”

Madelaide walked into the house using her keys and found her granddaughter. “.Princess, do you know where your daddy is?”

“She’s perfect.” the man said with a smile “Now to name her.”

Megan took a deep breath and pushed as hard as she could. “Holy fuck.”

“There you go, baby, I’m gonna help you.” he said as he caught the baby and pulled her out gently “Hey there you beautiful girl.” Drake said as the midwife came to help wipe her a little bit and suction her mouth and nose. “There you go there’s mommy.” he said putting the baby on Megs chest gently as he cut the cord and the midwife took care of the afterbirth. “She’s perfect, baby.” he said kissing Meg’s forehead as the tears fell down his cheeks

“Do you see her?”

“I see her, baby.” Drake said “She’s almost here, a big push for me.” the man said “You’re good at this now.” the midwife said with a chuckle rubbing his back and then moved over to Meg to pay attention to her

“Is the baby okay?” She asked. “It feels like she’s right between my legs.”

“She’s okay, baby.” he said as the midwife came over, Drake came over by her legs taking her hand “I’m here to help you and help her come into the world.”

Four hours later she jolted upright with a scream. “What is going on?” She grabbed her bump

“Hey, hey, baby.” Drake said putting his forehead to hers “You’re okay, it’s okay.” he said “You’re in labor, you passed out at home so the midwife and I made the choice to bring you to the hospital.”

“She’ll be okay.” The midwife reassured him 

When they arrived at the hospital and settled in a room, Drake just sat at the bedside holding her hand

“Sometimes this happens.” The woman told him. “From what you told she had a had a hard day. She just didn’t have the strength to push.”

Drake nodded “I’m so scared.” he said kissing her hand “Just rest, baby.” he said softly

Meg was so out of it but she vaguely saw the woman nod her head before her eyes started to close.

Drake couldn’t even process what was going on, he was now waiting for ambulance to come, he got dressed again and just held her hand. “This is my fault, I don’t blame her if she never wants kids again.” he said to the midwife
