Hi so this is my third time remaking this post and now I am officially a broke college student. I moved in last Friday and am living on campus. My scholarship/grant covered most of my bill leaving my remaining balance at over 1k which thanks to donations, I have been able to pay half of. Technically it is due on the 5th but I am working on getting it extended. I am also waiting to hear back about work study. I’m short 100 because I had to rent textbooks. In addition to this my old dinky laptop is on its last leg. Notice how I am using a wireless keyboard bc none of the actual keys work. Notice how the bottom is coming apart and how the mouse pad is completely lifted. Also notice how it’s plugged in. That’s because it only stays on if it’s connected to the charger 🙃 I found a replacement for 200 so in addition to the money that I need for college, I need a new laptop. So my phone bill is due and is now at 211.85 and will be turned off if it’s not paid today.

My laptop has officially died on me so I need a replacement. My goal is 200.

I have like 30 dollars in my wallet that I have been stretching for the past month.

The only reason I am even in school is bc of donations and scholarships.

Y’all, I’m broke and my last post fell off.

Honestly, I hate having to beg everyday but I have no other choice. I’ve barely started workstudy. I’m in school through scholarships and financial aid. Somehow, my college has decided that the money I scrambled together was not enough and I owe them 253 dollars that I don’t have. On top of that my phone bill is due again at a whopping 88.84 that I also don’t have. And my old laptop has officially died on me: the battery is swelling so I’m scared to use it anymore, and if I do use it I have to use a wireless keyboard because the actual keyboard doesn’t work and it has to be plugged in because if it isn’t it turns off during use. I don’t have a specific replacement in mind since this was my first laptop, so if anyone has any suggestions lmk. If anyone would like to help a poor black girl pay her bills this month and get a new laptop, it would be greatly appreciated because I am down bad 😭😭💕

I really, really want to buy my dad a new laptop. He’s been using the same one me and my sibling got from K-12 when we were still in grade school, and it’s on it’s last legs anyway.
