I think Berdly will become a Goner in the weird route, or atleast the chapter 5 abandoned one.

There are too many ideas connecting berdly to the concepts of Goners, specifically the idea that Goner Kid brings up about a world not changing even when you're gone. There is no character who we have more input on their fate on then berdly. We can kill him, burn him, leave him alone without any of his friends. But at the end of the day, the story will moving on. The weird route can be stopped and the game can keep moving like nothing happened even after killing him.

He exists in a world that doesn't need him, so what if he just let's the mask down for once? What if he really takes a look at his situation and realizes that too? Maybe the only thing keeping him alive are those lies he tells himself every day, so what if you take away his ability to lie and just let him...stir in his emotions. Maybe while hes bedridden and unable to move or do anything? Maybe then he'd realize how meaningless he is.

Uhhh Deltarune art in like a year. Chapter 5 was a roller-coaster for me and it made me consider actually drawing these characters. Tho expect them to change. Anyway Kerdly fans we are somehow still alive.
