UTDRtwt really likes to be very weird and rude about these kids identities huh. Like aside from Noelle who is given the most textual evidence literally why are we so pressed on headcanons for the other characters. "Well 'x' literally has never shown interest before in this gender so clearly-"

Like yeah okay, cool yay. That's the vauge proof your going with. But then don't get upset over bi/pan/ace headcanons. And this goes with gender too. There's apparently no middle ground or nuance with interpretations of gender identity for someone like Ralsei or just straight up transphobia bc they don't like transfem Ralsei, its just weird.

I consider myself so lucky that after chapters 3&4 I became a suselle shipper. Like in my years of Deltarune, I didn't ship them post chapter 1 or 2, I thought they were cute but I think I preferred Krusie back then (when it wasn't cool, ha). THEN suddenly after chapter 4, like months after, I suddenly saw the light on a random Tuesday night and just really got happy about them. And chapter 5 really solidified how much I love them. I cried. A lot.

Don't worry though I think I got karma for abandoning Krusie when after 3&4 I also started to ship kerdly and I think I'm doomed to be in super hell with how totally nothing will happen for that pair. I will eat and live off fucking crumbs forever, yay!!

Having Noelle and Berdly being your favorite characters is humiliation ritual bc both nobody can be normal about Noelle's narrative autonomy in fanon or canon. And people will kill you for wanting to be invested in Berdly as a character.

Guys the reason Susie wants to exclude Berdly into things is because like remember, he's been an arrogant jerk to her throughout their interactions. Yes I feel so bad for Berdly in the context of what the story is building up to, but like he didn't do any favors for himself when it comes to Susie. He constantly diminishes her intelligence, he refers to her as different things, and yeah that's a part of him not knowing the real her behind her facade but like still, that's rude. Of course he gains some respect for her (and ig crush) in cyber world but he doesn't really apply to what he "dreamed" of in the light world unlike Noelle. He definitely does begin to see her more sympathetically but like he's still being a little shit about it. Susie though, like what else can she make of him. As far as she knows, she thinks Berdly hates her. (When you talk to him in the library in chapter 4 Susie says: "look we get it, you still hate us in real life. We'll leave.") And like I don't blame her, to her he's always been that dweeb who constantly mocks her level of education, which we know that's an insecurity she actually has when she talks to Gerson. So like why should she include him in hanging out with Noelle and Kris if he's going to probably harsh the vibe about her being there. Like genuinely I think these two have to get know each other better so he could have a chance at being included. We know Susie probably won't mind IF Berdly drops his own facade.

Uhhh Deltarune art in like a year. Chapter 5 was a roller-coaster for me and it made me consider actually drawing these characters. Tho expect them to change. Anyway Kerdly fans we are somehow still alive.
