So. I'm making a decision.

I'm abandoning this account and all of the side blogs attached to it.

TL;DR: I'm making a new account to get a fresh start, and I will not link my new account on here. Thank you.

I will not be updating Embrace the Sibling anymore. While it was a lot of fun, I just don't have time to have a comic to that scale anymore. Plus it was starting to feel really generic and it felt like everyone was doing a post-Embrace the Void ending story. Mine didn't really stand out amongst the others if I have to be blunt. Honestly I like my Dreamer Hornet fic that I never finished more. Shoulda gone with that one as a comic tbh

On top of that my hyper fixation has changed from Hollow Knight to Splatoon 3. The funny cephalopods have captured my heart and I love them sm. They're what make me happy right now and it's got me drawing humans again. And I won't allow anyone to take that from me.

I will be making a brand new Tumblr account, but I won't be linking it here. I won't be impossible to find! It'll be pretty obvious once the new account goes up. Plus you'll be able to find it through my Youtube tbh. But I don't have it in me to post a link here. I just can't. That would negate the reason I'm abandoning this account in my eyes.

I'm choosing to not delete this account so all the old posts remain preserved. I don't have it in me to delete all my fan comics and I refuse to give them the Arcane Gourmet treatment (where I practically made it impossible to access). But this will be the final post on this blog.

Thank you everyone for my tumblr experience. From the good times and the bad times, I have grown as a person.

wow hey! I disappeared for... a while. I don't know how long it's been. And I don't know how long it's going to be.

I won't type all the reasons on why I suddenly just ghosted everyone. Nor do I fully want to, I think. I'll just say that there were some things that made me really uncomfortable that were going on, and I had to step back completely.

I don't know if I'll ever fully come back. I'm doing much better, but I'm still hella nervous about coming back to Tumblr. Just a month ago the thought of even logging in nearly caused a panic attack. Even now, writing this right now is hard.

I hope whoever is reading this is having a nice day, night, or whatever concept of time they experience. I hope you are doing well.

Small Update

So I've developed some chronic pain that's preventing me from actually sitting at my computer for long periods of time. Or well. Sitting up for long periods of time in general (standing included). Unfortunately this means that posts from me are going to be incredibly slowed down.

There just isn't much I can do easily on mobile (such as making image descriptions for ETS, because that requires a lot of switching back and forth between apps). I can do them, it's just a lot more mental processing power.

For the time that I do get to have not laying down, I'm usually focusing on The Island of Mezaai (a roblox game I model for) or important personal life things. Or, permitting I'm stubborn enough, I'm doing small break things that help out with my mental health (such as playing games because I'm definitely burnt out too)

I'm currently working with a physical therapist to help manage this, however it's been really slow. I'm trying to focus more on recovery so this hopefully doesn't badly affect me when college starts back up in little more than a month.

On top of that, I'm dealing with some of the worst summer depression I've had in a while and being in pain is not helping with that at all. And seeing how much doomscrolling is around right now, going into most online spaces has been making that all the more worse.

TL;DR: I'm depressed, burnt out, and very painful. I cannot focus on being on Tumblr right now, I need to recover and prepare for my next semester of college. I'm going to be continuing my break until further notice.
