           After a lot of consideration, I've decided that I'm going to step down from this group and focus on myself for a while. I’ve been going through a lot mentally and I just feel like i’m not giving this group the attention it needs. 

I want to thank everyone for welcoming me from the very beginning and making me feel so welcomed and loved. I’ll never forget any of you. I know you’ll probably unfollow, but know this blog is always open if you ever want to stop by and say hi! 

Thank you to all the mods of this wonderful RP that has been running for as long as it has, it’s truly so such a great group and I applaud you. Thank you so much for being so understanding and patient with me. 

Again, thank you, everyone, I’ve had a blast. I’ll miss you all so, so much.

“Instruction’s just gonna be kinda a pain in the ass; since I, y’know, broke my wrist not long after we initially planned this. And while I got the cast off a few weeks ago, it’s still pretty weak. So I can see what I can do as far as showing you the basics today; but there is a chance we may have to postpone it until I heal up a bit more.” Elly stated before directing her attention to her own bow. She’d opted to bring one of her standard recurve bows. It was one she didn’t tend to shoot much anymore (it was more for decoration at this point); but it was the most similar to the one she’d be lending to Matt. She figured it’d be best to use for demonstrations. Nocking an arrow, she took her aim at the target. It was the first time she’d picked up a bow since she’d hurt her wrist; so she wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. Initially, she felt fine; though after a couple seconds, things started to hurt, causing her to lower the bow. “Raincheck? I promise if you give me, like, a month, I’ll be back on my A-game for this.”

            Matthew genuinely frowned when Elly told him she had hurt her wrist. “Aw, I’m sorry, we don’t have to do this today, here, let me take you out to lunch or something?” He felt bad for having her come out this way for nothing. Matt accepted her raincheck and smiled at her sadly. “I’m sorry you hurt your wrist.” He said as he tried not to look at it, but was curious to see if it looked different in any way. Matt brought his eyes back to Elly’s and flashed her his infamous grin. “Raincheck it is... What do you say? WIll you have lunch with me?” He surely couldn’t wait to see her on her A game but he definitely didn’t want her to hurt her wrist anymore.

When Matt’s gaze dropped, Kris’ anxiety cut through the calming haze of their mind to wonder if they had gone too far. They never had any idea what the right way to flirt was. They were book smart— when it came to people? They were hopeless. They laughed in relief when Matt said he was flattered. “You should be. I know. But if you wanna tell me more about how beautiful I am, feel free,” they winked. They nodded. “No problem. I’ve got a few in mind, I’ll text you a full list later tonight.” Any list of recommendations coming from Kris had to be thoroughly researched, after all. “I’ll spare you a binder full of ideas. You’re not ready to handle my incredible binders.”

                 Matt looked at Kris and smirked before lifting a brow, “And how do you know what I can and can’t handle?” Matt was only teasing of course and he figured she was only kidding too, but he did find it funny. Of course, he ignored everything else said for the time being to say this, but only because he found it most intriguing of all. Now that he’s said his piece, retracted and started answering the other things. “Thank you, Kris.” He smiled and looked at her, remembering what she said about calling her beautiful and feeling free to. He smiled at this. “You’re very beautiful.” Was what he said as he nodded and took another long-awaited hit.

“it’s fine. you’re just doing your job.” even if thor was a little uncomfortable, he knew it was best to be honest about things, otherwise going to therapy wouldn’t be helpful at all. “ask away. i don’t mind.”

               “I am, but I also want you to be comfortable, this is your space. okay?” Matthew was notorious for trying to establish professional relationships with his patients. He found them critically important. “Tell me more about your experience during these times of drug use, if you’re comfortable of course.”

           Winter Baldwin was hardly in the mood to deal with this sweaty, over-confident asshole who found now to be a good time to try out one of his terrible pick up lines. She had half a mind to slap some common sense into the other and before Winter even had the chance to decide whether or not she was going to speak or swing, another man made an appearance. Green orbs merely watched the scene unfold, pressing a single button on her treadmill and watched as the speed slowly decreased to a full on stop. ❝ Don’t say sorry, ❞ pulling out her earphones, ❝ You just saved his life, not mine. ❞ But even as the words left her lips, a small smile crept on her features.  ❝ Thank you, though— I appericate it. ❞

             There was something about this woman that reminded him of Ava. Her confidence and self-assurance made him smile. “It’s no problem,” Matt said with a bright smile. It was actually his pleasure to help her in any way he could, but he knew that a woman like her didn’t need anyone’s help. “I’m Matt, by the way, I’m sorry I don’t think I caught your name?” Matthew was a curious guy and he liked making friends, especially ones with great personalities. He didn’t know much about her but he could tell she was definitely an interesting person.

i really wanted to sit down and get to all my replies tonight but i’m being dragged out by friends so I have everything drafted and i’ll reply to everything tomorrow!

“Y’know, something told me you’d never follow through.” Elly crossed her arms over her chest and shook her head. It was clear Matt’s words were far from surprising. “So in preparation for just this, I actually had my dad ship over one of my very first bows for you to use.” In actuality, her dad had just shipped over two when she’d only asked for one back when she was giving lessons to Connor; but she wasn’t gonna tell Matt that. It all just ended up working out that she had been left with a spare beginner’s bow after the one she’d given to her friend.

               “It’s a pain in the ass that you actually know me that well,” Matt commented with a small laugh, shaking his head and dropping his gaze. He didn’t look up for a little, feeling like a guilty fifth grader that didn’t get to his homework the night before. However, she had his back and it was so like Elly to be this prepared. “Thank you, honestly, you’re the best.” Matt soon felt hyped up for this again, He figured that when he told Elly that he didn’t have his bow and arrow they’d do something else or reschedule, but he was glad at least one on of them came prepared so they could do this.

“no. i’ve never had any trouble with any other substances. i’ve quit drinking now too though…just to be safe.” thor replies, reaching up to run a hand through his hair. he knew matthew was just doing his job, but that didn’t stop him from feeling a bit frustrated, unsure of where he was going with his questions. 

             Matthew wrote this down, it noting all the important things Thoren had told him not wanting to miss a single piece of information. “It’s probably a good idea that you stopped drinking,” Matt said as he nodded his head. “I’m sorry if I’m asking too many questions, or if my asking these questions are triggering. It’s our first meeting so I want to get as much information as I can before we discuss some more.”

            “Yeah so, I never ended up getting that bow and arrow ....” Matthew said with grief evident in his face. He didn’t want to disappoint, but life got in the way and he didn’t find the time to go to the sport’s store and get it. @ellymunro

                “I see you like cardio… wanna go back to my place and do it together?” Matt couldn’t believe his ears as this drunk on power asshole said this to the woman on the treadmill to his right. He turned to look at the guy and rolled his eyes. He wasn't going to interject but this guy was a tool. “Leave her alone, dude, with a pick up like that?” He chuckled, “Forget about it.” There was a look in Matt’s eyes that must’ve intimidated the guy cause he left quickly after. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to get in your life’s business, but that was just... I couldn’t sit back on that.” // @winterbaldwin

Elijah slowly shook his head, “You know – I can’t say that I’ve ever heard that saying but, it’s got a ring to it,” he admitted before nodding. “Right? Why do teenaged kids get to have extravagent lives before the rest of us mediocre adults?” he laughed at the comment he made. He looked at the other male, the weight of his words fueling the heavy sighed that escaped from his lips. “I know. It’s almost like – A constant state of tiredness. You know?” he replied, phrasing his rheortical question. “Of course they are and I totally get that. It’s hard sometimes, you know? There’s not enough time for it all,” he shrugged at the same time as his head hung low briefly. 

               “See, we need each other. We teach each other new things.” All the recipes needed for a good friendship, Matt thought as he smiled at the male and took a sip out of his beer. “I don’t know honestly, but it’s fucked up and I don’t think anyone under the age of eighteen should have so much money. Call me ageist. I just don’t.” Matt shrugged and took another sip. Matt nodded his head and looked at Elijah as he continued. “Yeah, I know.” He sighed himself. “Yeah, I gotcha.” He said a little light headed now from the alcohol. He didn’t drink often, at least he tried not to. “I’m sorry, I actually... I think I might be buzzed.”

“I’m not wrong ever. Just saying.” Kris took another hit. They had a pretty high tolerance since they smoked regularly for their PTSD and leg pain; a sense of calm settled over them. “Is that your professional psychiatrist opinion? Definitely flirting with you. You’re hot and I’m hot. Case closed.” They turned their head to exhale the smoke. “I can recommend you some good ones.” 

               “Clearly,” Matt smirked at her and dropped his gaze as he was flattered by this. She was a very beautiful woman and he definitely welcomed the flirting. Matt was high enough to not think of much else, and he chose not to anyway. “Why do people keep asking me that?” He laughed, “Yes, it is.” Matt looked at her appreciating her beauty. “I’m flattered, honestly. You’re very beautiful.” He said and smiled when Kris mentioned she could recommend some of them to him. “I’d actually love that, thank you.”

Happy Valentine’s day! I love all of you and because I love you all I want a chance to get to know all of you more in depth. “not really either. i was in pain…the drugs helped.” his shoulder still bothered him from time to time, but thor knew better now. it was easier to just power through. “i mean…i guess if i had to say something i’d say it numbed the pain, but that’s kind of the point, right?” 

             “Definitely, until you use it to excess.”Matt put the pen down and looked at Thoren. “Do you have a history of addictive traits?” He asked before leaning back into his chair and looking at him. Thren seemed so defensive and quick to make comment but not open up. Matt made a special note to work with that. They needed to get to the root of the problem and work their way out. Well, that’s how he liked to work anyway.
