I'm entering @laurabeatrix's Month of Murphy Challenge! I'm going with Week #5 "The Day after Tomorrow," and will be exploring the potential that is Karrin Murphy joining Team Marcone.

Basically just posting things I've sketched since Twelve Months came out.

Drop the essay! I haven't really read the interviews either, except for the one where Jim said, "Yeaaah... Harry needs a breather" but yes lol, he very much needed a breather 😂

I CAN'T. I can't write it. I can't do it. I'm too mean, okay? And I just go on and on and on, it's so annoying. Basically I didn't like it, but I can't tell if the reasons why I didn't like it are because of the writing or because of Mab?? Based on what Molly said kind of early on in the book, I feel like it's because of Mab.... Either way, in my heart, Harry's in timeout. I don't even want to look at him right now.

Things I did like though - I liked that I got a chance to actually miss Murphy! I really overlooked her character during my readthrough and now I've finally fallen in love with her. She's amazing. Bear's amazing too, obviously, how can you not appreciate her. Also, I like Thomas coming back being really bittersweet. He's said a lot of (alarming) things about Lara throughout the series that make me think he's not going to be too passive about this arrangement, and if he is passive, then there's probably a darker reason for it. And thanks to Thomas, WE GOT THE BLUE BEETLE BACK, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!1 SHE'S BACK!!! THE BIGGEST LOSS OF THE SERIES AND SHE'S BACK

I'm actually doing okay, thank you for asking ♡. I started to write you an essay and then realized I might come across as too much, so if you'd like to know way more than you need to, please send another ask and I'll respond.

Basically the book was not what I expected! And I've come to a lot of weird conclusions from it. I haven't read most interviews from the author unfortunately, so maybe the things I'm thinking of are too out there, but it's been fun predicting how we'll get our girl Murph back into the story.... because she is coming back, right? Right? But yes, thank youu
