We meet up with Cristian after he initially went to an African American salon that promised they could effectively install dreadlocks in his Caucasian hair. . Needless to say that never goes very well. The salon tried to twist his hair with a lot of product and after just one day some of his dreadlocks started falling out. He went back and asked them to fix it so they took it all out and tried something else, without success... . Cristian knew there was a better way so he took his dreadlocks out and he kept looking and eventually found us. We gave him the exact thickness he wanted with his brand new dreadlock installation via the crochet method. Combining 210 dreadlocks into 105! . Denise was hanging out with us when we fixed up her friend's dreadlocks and asked us if we could combine her locs. She wanted thicker and stronger dreadlocks instead of the extremely thin ones she had. . We set up an appointment and turned 210 dreadlocks into 105 by the time we were finished! <- SWIPE IT -> . This client had his dreadlocks for about 7 months and only about 1-2 inches of his length actually locked up. He contacted us for help and we fixed him up! . This session was a total overall where we created some new dreadlocks, split a few, cleaned up his roots, closed his ends, and tightened everything else! . He lives in an area with pretty hard water which reduces the effectiveness of certain shampoos from working properly leaving his hair and scalp very oily. This oiliness was effectively lubricating his hair which can really slow down the locking process, even after doing a deep cleanse (because of the hard water). . She originally started her dreadlocks with the freeform method, then she decided to get maintenance by someone who interlocked and twisted her dreadlocks. The interlocking actually stopped the locking process which lead to the thinning and breaking. . About 2/3 of her dreadlocks fell off completely which she thankfully saved, the ones that were still attached were extremely thin towards the root, and her sections were practically non-existant.
