real indulgent. what if the stargazer got out during the blackout and ran into a familiar face

^ i like the idea that they manage to eke out a rough form of communication thru sign + written messages during the tiny calm b4 the storm

theres no way this encounter would end happily either the stargazer somehow manages to convince beryl to come up to its lair so it can meatgrind her OR sam + friends manage to interrupt in time and attack it without explanation. the world explodes if the astronomers experience happiness without melting together into the exalted four LOL

^ stargazer getting shot by an offscreen aster immediately after beryl fully understands who he is that i cannot be assed to finish up. might explore the idea further in writing

darkest dungeons 10 year anniversary has infected me once more with the illness. real rough crossover stuff bc so many of the mercenaries would make such delightful lookoutside guys

some more ideas that i didnt drawn anything for-

- if attacked, the flagellant + abomination would have an annoying gimmick fight where any damage dealt to the flagellant would be mirrored as healing on the abomination (some sort of overheal mechanic as well ?) and if you try to focus the abomination down first the flagellant would start attacking you while also doing damage to himself to keep the heals coming

- reynauld would be a cop who got caught up in the initial calamity of the visit and fused into his riot gear but insists that he never looked outside while spiraling further + further into the mindset of Cleansing the Impure. door encounter into tanky party member with a quest that would culminate in him trying to get sam to raid the basement encampment / mutts fish + chips with him. if you refuse to do so he attacks you

- a bit more rough but i rlly like the idea of the visitor arriving while dismas is being transported to prison twd chap1 style and him making the best of his transformation to help ppl in the collapse of society as his attempt at redemption. wanders around the apartment and could temporarily join the party spine style if sams in rough straits (low health, missing arm, etc etc) or only has kids w him

- man-at-arms would be a bus passenger drawn into the landlords war hell as a sergeant, asks sam to collect reports from the other nonhostile soldiers or smth. arbalest would be there as well as a sniper who asks sam to fetch her more ammunition ?

- occultist was a college professor pre-visit working under an INCREDIBLY overbearing dean who looks outside upon the visitors arrival and transforms into a parallel to the occultists patron in dd (imprints on the occultist bc they were sheltering in the same room during the initial panic of arrival and starts tailing him as it completely loses its mind). less overt magic than in dd, more the occultist siccing this huge tentacle beast on threats and such

- plague doctor had her medical license revoked a year or so pre-visit, starts doing straight up mad doctor experiments upon looking outside. boss encounter where she is joined by her 'patients' that are permanently confused and deal bonus damage to her

my dumb friendship idea: phillippe and morton

it feels like they're both on the spectrum. phillippe speaks bluntly, is easily irritated by others, and feels forced to mask so he's not killed. morton is... well, morton

maybe in this au morton thinks he's still a moth and wanted to regrow him? phillippe is bored. more so pissed off that it has to be around... him. despite that, the more words that comes out of the cricket's mouth, the more he's... interested? and besides, there's nowhere else to go.

i dunno, there's at least something here to be had.

ohhh i really like these two as a pair thank you for sending this .. guy who exists for treachery + concealment made to interact w a guy so authentically Himself that it feels impossible even as phillippe watches morton in action. a life he could never live yet close enough to touch. if that makes sense

little thing for a lyle x hellen twitter request. took me a while to come up w a concept but i do like the idea that after catching a glimpse of something More to hellen lyles interest shifts from purely physical to a need to dig deeper and deeper into that aspect without any regard for her privacy. WHATEVER shape their relationship would take would for sure end in a death brawl once hellen learns of the depths of lyles depravity and my moneys on her LOL

thank you !!! that jasper + aurelius comic is both the most overt romantic astronomer thing (though anything ive done w them is thru that lens unless otherwise stated LOL) and the only thing ive completed for that au so i dont rlly have the need for a tag yet but i DO have plans for fics and such later on so i may organize it a bit better when the need arises
