I've got as many problems with Kavinsky as the next person, but honestly, the fact that we didn't get a hate make out between him and Ronan? Unrealistic. I feel robbed. Come on, you could cut the sexual tension with a knife.

people say that kavinsky is written the way for us to see him as a villain and to hate on him but… idk i kinda fail to see it. pt1

look, first time me meet k we see him through ronan’s pov and ronan thinks that “he ought to hate him, too”, which means he doesn’t! so atm i don’t either

next time - k comes to cafe and blue is hating on him for no visible reason (well i mean the reasons are - he stands to close, he’s restless, he calls her ‘baby doll’ and he doesn’t hit on her. fuck that shit girl) but ronan’s “eyes was ferocious and alive” and k gifts ronan wristbands with “I remembered I had something for Lynch” and “I just thought of you” and in that moment i as a reader am pretty sure that there’s already something between this two but no one knows yet

but then ronan keeps freaking out thinking what was the meaning of the gift and i think - well, probably there was only sex before and now there’re gifts and ronan confused by the meaning of it. which would be valid, right?

then THIS interaction happens:

“That’s how it’s gonna be? Hard to get?” “Yes,” said Ronan.

i meeean.. are there any other meaning to this i don’t know about? (i’m not native speaker but) it sounds really loud and blatant! and after ronan thinks “This what it felt like to be happy”. COME! ON!

so everyone says k is trouble. he in turn makes ronan feel alive. he hasn’t done anything wrong yet (did he ever?) and there’re only rumors and stereotypes about him that others spreading
