I’ve had two people back to back try to engage in a roleplay but didn’t read my rules, please read them here before trying to send a starter.

"Just got off the phone with Sega, apparently there was some complaints about how I looked as a car, that and some other crap about how vehicles need to be interchangeable and I can't be both a vehicle AND a driver at the same time!"

"No biggie, driving a car doesn't sound TOO hard! What could go wrong?"

"Black Doom can make things look like Radical Highway all he wants but it'll NEVER be Radical Highway without ME there!!!"

"Nightmare, my beloved utopia. Why won't anyone see the beauty of the darkness? Light is but a trick. They don't know the truth is in the dark. What would happen if there was only Nightmare in the dream world?" "My dream, is to make Maginaryworld a world full of light. Even the strongest of people have dark emotions in their hearts. We must be stronger; Emptiness does not conquer dreams, dreams conquer the emptiness!"

Trying to get back into digital art so I drew this to show off Wizeman and Illumina's dynamic in my lore. While Wizeman may seem dark at first glance he secretly has nobility in his goals, on the flipside Illumina's goals may seem pure on the surface they are secretly sinister.

My take on Wizeman heavily hinges on the Japanese manual where there is no such mention of him wanting to take over the Waking World, as well as the story book (where the above text is from) It sure is mighty suspicious that Wizeman can so easily kill off nightmaren for the slightest failure yet the traitor NiGHTS is wanted alive? I mean yeah there is sunk cost fallacy but I feel there is likely more to that.

NiGHTS into dreams was based off Carl Jung's Theory of Personality. Wizeman being Ego and NiGHTS being The Shadow. NiGHTS representing the carefree and kind aspects that Wizeman desperately tries to hide. (Perhaps in fear of being seen as weak by his subjects?)

As for Illumina, well aware I am twisting the intended meaning for Illumia's lines. Although, if you give it a bit more thought it makes some sense. (That and like, she's barely in the game. She doesn't give me much to go off of) The plot of Sonic Shuffle kicks off because Illumina refuses to accept the darkness in her heart so she physically removes it from herself, Sonic and friends try to get her to embrace it but right after they fuse we get the slap of the face of her pretty much saying "Darkness is a weakness you must overcome!", it feels like she learned NOTHING! With a personality like that is makes sense Wizeman ended up feeling unappreciated. Illumina likely sees the nightmaren as a blight on Maginaryworld, not a natural and necessary part of Nightopia's ecosystem.

everyone go enable this immediately. it can be a bit hard to find because “visibility” is under blog settings instead of general settings or privacy. you have to do this individually for each separate side-blog

if you can’t find it on the app then the update probably hasn’t rolled out to you, and you’ll have to go through the web browser. what a truly wild way/time to implement this

I'd really love to actually have an RP thread involving Wizeman's wish granting powers. Unlike Ariem (who I am still unsure if I want to add to the blog) he's not on a wish cooldown for 1000 years. Plus he doesn't care how corrupt your wish is, he's willing to grant whatever as long as you pay your fee.

[TALK] - for receiver’s muse to be talking in their sleep.

[AWAKE] - for our muses to be lying awake together, neither one of them able to get (back?) to sleep.

[JOLT] -  for receiver’s muse to jolt awake after a nightmare, possibly being held/talked to by sender’s muse.

[HURT] -  for receiver’s muse to be half-conscious after an injury, and not able to keep their nightmares separate from reality.

[SOOTHE] - for sender to comfort receiver’s muse while they’re having a nightmare, trying to keep receiver asleep.

[TUCK] - for sender to find receiver’s muse asleep somewhere and tuck them in with a blanket (or jacket, etc)

[QUESTION] -  for sender’s muse to check whether receiver’s muse is Okay, in the morning after a nightmare, in a wordless way (touching their arm, etc)

[PLEASE] for receiver’s muse to ask sender’s muse for comfort after a nightmare, or for company staying up so they don’t have a nightmare.

I imagine when nightmaren are on duty they don't always use their true form, sometimes using their shapeshifting to take on a more "normal" look to not be so obvious to their victims. This here is my design for when Reala is going undercover for mobians, going under the alias of "Riara the Donkey". I need to get around drawing their human disguise. I do plan on using this form for roleplays but I'm not sure if I'll draw RP icons for them.

So someone brought these to my attention and I figured I'd share. Found the official reasons why NiGHTS and Reala were in the game Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed so figured I'd share. Provided the original text as well as some google translation attempts. Some interesting stuff here. Not sure why NiGHTS is being called the founder of Nightmare, I'm ASSUMING that's some google translation scuff. NiGHTS seemed like they joined for fun and Reala followed to keep an eye on them. Reinforcement on the Japanese JoD lore of the persona masks being a gift for extreme loyalty, not a mind control device like the fandom keeps thinking it is. Confirmation on the ranking of Goodles! This is HUGE! As far as it was known their level was a mystery until now! Granted plenty of people already kinda theorized them as 3rd levels but it's nice to have a word of god on the matter.
