CONFIRMATION OF EVENTS urges him onward . swords drawn in a dual - fashion , he eyes the man he used to call a dearest friend . within his arms lays the one he’s vowed to protect , the one he’s determined to save from the fall of mankind . opposing them right now feels like a blade plunged through the gut . he can’t escape this . . . if he wants to save them , he must retaliate . she’s right . what with the way they’d attacked them , he fears he’ll come out of this drawing his last breaths . . . that is , if he does not surrender to the idea of their timely demise . but if they meet their demise in this time . . . what does it mean for the next one ? is it really worth it if he’s to end them here . . . no . he’ll simply put a stop to the man’s schemes . he’ll allow him to falter , to fall , but he will not end his fate . not yet , at least .

the frustration in his heart grows fervently & his jaw locks with how hard he’s clenching his teeth . his mouth aches .
