🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
THERE'S STILL TIME TO VOTE; DONT LET THE BOOMERS GET WHAT THEY WANT
Anyone who hasn’t voted yet... please go out and do it. I know it’s cold and miserable. But think about our NHS. Think about Education. Think about the number of families living below the poverty line and relying on food banks. Think of of all the children going to school hungry every day. Think of the 130,000 preventable deaths due to austerity. Think of the crap train services up north. Think of the 1% sitting happily on their ever-increasing wealth while all this is happening around them.
And if that’s not enough... think about the fact that Boris Johnson is a lying, homophobic, sexist, racist coward who steals journalists phones and hides in fridges.
Vote Labour! Vote for a better country for the many not the few!
Vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳, vote 🗳
Vote!
Vote to keep our NHS!
Vote for a party that takes measures to increase the amount of nhs staff and doesn’t promise NURSES WHO ALREADY WORK THERE!

Vote for a party that’s accepting and doesn’t refer to ethnic minorities as looking ‘like letterboxes’ or lgbt members as ‘tank topped bum boys’
Vote for a party that believes teaching about lgbt relationships in schools is okay, and for a prime minister who doesn’t compare gay marriage between loving consenting adults to a man marrying his dog (Jesus tonight I can’t believe he actually wrote this article’
Vote for a party that didn’t refer to the majority of its people as ‘drunk, criminal, aimless and feckless’!
Vote for a party that would rather tax a few BILLIONAIRES and help vulnerable member of society that keep austerity going!

You don’t have to vote labour, but please vote the conservatives out. Polling is open till 10pm. You don’t need ID or your voting card! Just vote.
I’m saying this as a nurse. A child in a working class family. The sister of a teacher.
Vote anyone but Tory!
If you are registered to vote in the UK, go out and vote!! I know who i’m voting for, it doesn’t matter if we vote differently but please, MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD! We are voting for our future!
Don’t Vote Tory
There’s really not much for me to say; just don’t vote Tory. Anything but Tory. Look up your constituency and find out who the second party is (if in Tory seat) and vote for them. If you’re in a constituency not held by the Conservatives and they have even a slight chance of getting in, vote for your current MP. Don’t let the Tories get your seat, or, conversely, don’t let them keep it.
This may be our last chance in a generation to save our country. Please, don’t waste the opportunity. People like me don’t even get to have our voices heard, so if you personally don’t care to vote yourself, do it for us. Please.
Remember, Remember The 12th of December
Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is there is something terrible wrong with our country.
For ten years, our government has strip mined our public sector in the name of austerity, while their donors, their allies and they have got fat off their own wealth. They have gutted social services, they have gutted the police, they have gutted the health services, they have gutted the legal system and they have gutted the welfare system.
And what has been the result?
Crime - up. Poverty - up. Waiting times - up. An education system in crisis. A healthcare system in crisis. A social care system in crisis.
Hate crimes - up. Division - up. A nation more divided than ever, with a government seemingly intent on fuelling those divisions ever further.
A country in crisis.
And who is to blame?
A party that gutted public services and was re-elected on a platform that would continue doing it.
A party that appealed to the base instincts of society and was re-elected on a platform that would continue doing it.
A party that showed it had no care for anyone other than themselves and those who give them money and was re-elected on a platform that it wouldn’t improve.
A party that promised strong and stable government, then tore the country apart for three years.
A party that had a majority in government and saw its own MPs reject its deal after three years of negotiation.
A party that tells you because you did not agree with its Glorious Leader three years ago, your voice is no longer wanted in a democratic debate.
A party that asks for your vote but demands your silent obedient consent on the most important matter of the day.
A party that clings on to the most corrupt of their members, that uses lies and calumnies to cover up their crimes and deceits and yet asks you to put your trust in them to protect the most valuable parts of our country.
A party that says it speaks for the will of the people, but only the will of those who agree with the platform laid down by senior party members.
So if you see nothing wrong with their behaviour, if the actions and activities of this government remain acceptable to you and if you believe that this is how your country should be run, then I suggest you let things stay as they are.
But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me one month from today, to oust these people from Parliament and give this country a new government - a government free from the ideologues who have wrecked our society and our nation - and give us a Christmas that will never, ever be forgot.
Guys, I realise most of you are US based and don’t realise this, but the next General Election in the UK will decide what we as a country want out of our system.
We literally have the most left wing manifesto out of the labour party we’ve seen in years - they’re finally not just a centrist, almost policy for policy but slightly more left version of the tories.
However, right-wing media is attempting to destroy our left wing leader. They’re smearing him left, right and centre. Hopelessly trying to make him out to be an ‘incapable leader’, as though ANY of the leaders we’ve had in the past few decades were the most respectable of people.
Our right wing leader is essentially Cruella De Vil down to wanting to lift the ban on fox hunting.
Can we talk about this more as a site?
You all blogged for Trump vs Clinton. Now can we pay attention to the rise of the right wing else where? Our left wing is promising nationalisation, free education and taxing the rich to fill our gaps but people still want to vote Tory despite them looking to privatise our health care, rip it to shreds first by giving their friends jobs in management and toss our education system up in the air. All because 1) Not enough people are voting and 2) the right wing is playing dirty tricks.
What happens in our General Election decides how the UK interacts with Trump. Currently, Theresa is a loyal lap dog without a back bone to speak of. Be aware that politics in other countries exists.
