that one corporate clash blogpost explaining the difference between grunt/corporate ladder cogs and the manager cogs still left a sour taste in my mouth to this day. funny, is it not? that you're trying to convey a message about capitalism treating the proletariat as disposable, while doing the same writing-wise and giving the higher ranked and privileged regional managers much more attention.

nevertheless, it opened up the floodgates to various worldbuilding ideas in relation to the different lives these two kinds of cogs lead -- those made by a proper family and those shot out of the factory assembly line.

ive not been shy to state that i dont associate with corporate clash but ive never been able to expand on why i dont for a number of reasons.

here. this is why.

the testimonies of these current and former cc staff members speaks for itself. i heard rumors of mismanagement and mistreatment for years, and the number of responses is far too great to simply sweep under the rug. ive had dear friends and colleagues either leave or be dismissed on bad terms with cc leadership.

i personally will continue staying separate and away from cc. i encourage others to strongly reconsider whether this is a project worth supporting based on what these brave ex staff members have said.

but if you wanna do something, demand transparency on their communication channels (clashcord, email, socials) around what the team is doing to address the issues raised. transparency should look like owning up to the existing problems, identifying solutions to those problems, and enacting them. keep the pressure on. and keep doing it until they listen and demonstrate meaningful improvements that legitimately make the team better. not something like a name change, or timeouts, or whatever. big changes, and not hidden behind closed doors.

despite your rightful anger, no matter what, please be respectful. theres a lot of people affected here and not all of them are to blame.

positive change cannot be enacted without effective accountability, both inside the team and out.
