Hey friends! I've been busy w/work and working on the Discord - I'm also trying to help a friend create a roleplay community, so most of my attention and free time has gone into that.

Hi! Happy New Year! I hope 2025 was kind and if it wasn't we know that 2026 will be better for us. I don't think I'll be posting any massive huge changes to my life here, but I will say I'd like to try and aim to have Saving Dreamlight Valley's main arc finished by this time in 2026. I'm giving myself an entire year to focus and finish it's MAIN ARC before moving onto it's next bit.

And if I don't finish it? Then I don't! That's okay!

In other news, I'm feeling like I'm finally ready to launch a Discord server for the fanfiction community. Right now it's in its barebone state, and I don't think it'll be ready until closer to the end of January, but if it's done any sooner, y'all will be the first to know!

Oh my gosh it's that liminal space between Christmas and New Years when the points mean nothing and everything is jellytace. I wrote an update for Saving Dreamlight Valley and then promptly slept/had the holidays and I've only come home now since we're supposed to be whalloped with a massive storm.

I'm off work until the 5th officially as of this past Friday, so I'm hoping I can get at least one more update for either story before the new year.

So... I'm ill with covid :( I'm finally beginning to see the end of it though, I think, and I've been chipping away at various small plot ideas, character studies while I'm isolated in my bedroom haha.

Ooh, I haven't done a double post in a while!! I got nothing done on Tuesday or Wednesday, hoping today could be a better day.

On my commute to work I was scrolling through the latest works posted and I'm always surprised that I can spot a Wattpad user a mile away. It's not just in the tags, but in the title of their work/s, how they summarize ... It's a bright red calling card that they're Wattpad users first, AO3 users second.

Nothing wrong with it, it's just interesting, and it keeps me from getting tangled in with the wrong sort of crowd haha.

I hope everyone has a good rest of their week! Remember: I won't be posting on Saturdays or Sundays moving forward, so I'm hoping to have an update for y'all tomorrow or Monday.
