One of these days that I realize the insanely stupid impact of my mother's jealousy or belittling or idk what her motivation was

But... she always said I have short legs like my father (whereas she and my brother had long legs)

I was choosing a bicycle frame the other day and I had to get the large one, and the seller said: you have long legs, that's why! And I'm standing there like 🧐 no? 🤔

Ok so whether it's a fact or an assumption or whatever... Point is! All (what she deemed as and made out to be) "ugly" characteristics and personality traits were always from my father's genes 🥲

Now, whatever your preferences are, that's beside the point. The point is that I'm realizing, memory by memory, how she never acknowledged me and made me believe I was unworthy or sth??? She made me hate myself, and my father, for all these "imperfections" ... How abusive she was ...
