Nonsense? This isn’t nonsense, silly! It’s great! (And how did the baking go with one good hand? ;)

It was... interesting, to put it as politely as I possibly can. (And considerably less politely than I put it while I was cooking, if I'm honest. ;) ) But, on the plus side, having only one good hand does get me out of having to do any of the washing-up, so I can't complain too much. *grins*

Sorry, I should have explained that a bit better, shouldn't I? *sheepish grin* Basically they're like a cupcake? You make them as you would cupcakes, then when they're done you carve out a space in the top with a spoon, fill it with your topping, and then you cut the little piece of cake you took out into two, and put them back into the topping, and they kinda, sorta, look like a butterflies wings. I know that probably sounds kind of cheesy, but they really are rather good. I made half vanilla, half chocolate, and used buttercream for the icing. :)

I got some good news today, so I decided to bake my floor some butterfly cakes to celebrate.

I am currently watching two of my flatmates give each death glares over who gets to eat the last one.
