Looks like I'm coming back to this blog after so super long..

I've got some new guys under my belt :) and a new man I'll be roleplaying!

His name is Blackjack! @emo-axel drew him for me.

He's a big man and I love himb..

This is my own take on Mafiafell. This particular guy is a Dust [guys who after experiencing so many resets, decides to take matters into his own hands if ykyk]. I'll go into more depth about his au later while roleplaying or maybe link a post with loooooreee.

[... Cor- Corcorcorcorcor-] “... I.... I miss someone.” [She just managed to say, rather blankly but clearly with tears coming up again... how would Cor recognize her like this.? And when he is younger.?]

Cor’s gaze softens in understanding. He kneels in front of her, taking her hand. “..and the pain of them gone feels like too much to bear?” He gently asks. He quiets, a thoughtful look in his eyes. “Would this person, you miss, like seeing you in so much pain? Or do you think they would rather see you rise up from the pain that drags you down, and fight for what is left of the future?” He raises up, offering her a hand. “The loss will hurt. That pain will always hurt, and it will hit you unexpectedly, and hard. But those you lose wouldn’t want you to suffer over them. They would want you to thrive, and continue. For you to find what happiness you can.”

Chara grins, and they offer their hand to them. “Let’s go and say hi then! He shouldn’t be too far ahead.”

their wings shift slightly, tucking a bit closer to their back- not guarded exactly, since their expression was almost purely one of interest... with something in their gaze very like the curiosity that had once driven them to cross multiverses in an attempt to satisfy.

drawing one wing about to use as a makeshift cape. they return the half bow, a bit more theatrically maybe, before reaching to accept the offered hand. a self rueful smile, but genuine just the same. "one more 'near Death' experience? ten, fifteen... I've stopped counting anyway."

and they were curious, yes, and that would be enough to drive them anyway- but this wasn't a passive curiosity, not this time. the world had fallen apart around them, again, and they at the very least wanted to understand, if they could.

"-lead on? and maybe we can even talk about about that weird conversation between Dream and Magnus..."

“What is life without death, after all.” The god murmured, tugging the other along. He keeps moving forward out of the hall and outside, moving down the steps; careful not to rush. He nods forward, towards where a fountain sits in the midst of a cobblestone sidewalk. “Past there, is where I wish to show you. Perhaps.. some things will make sense then.”

Admittedly, they give Yule a puzzled look. "I'm not sure whether that means it wasn't her mirror I saw break or not, but I wasn't-"

It didn't matter what they meant. They don't want to think of thst right now anyway... they did wonder again if something was different. "Do I like the sky?" Their wings shift, a bit unconsciously. "Do you mean do I like flying? Or am I enjoying the weather?"

"mostly both, but I don't get to fly often..." they glance towards the window again, "I definitely can't fly like you do. I've basically still got my training wheels on- um, so to speak."

“Mirror eh?” Something registers in Yule’s eyes. “You know.. I’m not the only god to exist. Besides me or my brother, there are others out there. In the future, hidden, locked away, corrupted. Not all gone, but not all here.”

He offers a hand in the change of subject, a half effort bow given. “It might be easier to show you what I mean.”

“Yes! Did you hear that Flowey we get a travel buddy!” Chara chirps. Flower just seems to droop, mumbling a grouchy ‘Whatever’ beneath his breath, seeming annoyed in general.

“If I remember right, Asgore should be making his rounds soon- he’s really nice and he has his own garden here. You don’t have to hide from him if you don’t want to- if things align we could even help him cook a pie tonight!” Chara grins.

[MV just wants to be at the date again.. just be with him... but she nods and complies and heads where she was told to go... everything feels automated now.. like there is no purpose for her to do this, like there’s nothing worth for her to find out what is happening..]

As she does, she walks by someone; perhaps an even more familiar face than the last. That person pauses and looks back, brows furrowed. Two soft aqua eyes stare at her, confusion and almost.. recognition on their face, as if it was on the tip of their tongue but not quite there. “Do- I know of you?” A crown sits nestled on a wild rush of midnight hair, his skin, where once greyed with the void, remains rich in color, of a golden hues; a shadow of stubble of sleepless nights brushed across his face. He’s tall, perhaps not as tall as he once was, and much younger than before.

Cor frowns, a flicker of concern passing through his gaze. “Are you alright? You don’t look as if you’re faring well.” He gently asks.

"-yes, please." Bells agrees, the small waver finally entering their voice once the other is gone.

"what I saw wasn't like any- I've never seen anything like that?" they look back to Yule, finally, brows knit in worry. "that-" they look after his brother again, then fall quiet.

"..." fuck. Fate.

“Fate?” Yule chuckles, a low hearthy chuckle. “She hasn’t come into power as of yet. Won’t for.. well you’ll see.” He glances off towards his brother. “We have a couple hours until I have to go. Things are a little more peaceful, if just for the moment. Do you like the sky?”

*they nod* alright. i will try to do that ~feather

“Great! Cool!” Chara quiets for a moment before their expression brightens as if they had an idea. The flower, Flowey, seems to facepalm with their leaf at the look in their eyes. “Soooo why don’t you join us then? We can all go through the Underground and I can help you hide from Stretch as you find your way out?” They say, with a huge grin.

[MV silently nods at the king’s ‘request’... however She doesn’t know what now. Everything feels unreal, not worth it, so confusing...]

With the prince gone, the chef gives her a tense smile. “Come back in another day- I’m sure things will be less stressed then and we can always use more hands. Till then, why not find your way to the grand hall? The festivities should be beginning there.”

*they watch the three of them for a moment*

The two converse before, the seeming prince turns heel and walks away.

The chef says something briefly to MV before heading back into the kitchen, leaving the asker alone.

[MV glitches at this, shaking and only getting more stressed before walking out the kitchen rather quickly without a word-]

Across the hall, a perhaps familiar asker has appeared.

Malum only gives her a small glance before turning to the chef. “I will assume for now everything is in order. I’ll be back to check before the feast, until then, I wish you adieu. Oh and-” Something dark flickers through the princes gaze. “Do not disappoint Cor on his birthday. Not like last years mishap, or we will return you to back whence you came.”

With that, the prince turns and walks away.

Not really- ~feather

“Oh?” Something determined flicks through Chara’s gaze and they whisper, in a scheming tone, “Are you one of the outcodes then? That have been showing up and talking to Blue? Cause Stretch really doesn’t like you guys. I’d try and stay clear of him this run if I were you.”

A small smile brushes across their lips, and they lift a hand in returned greeting. "Hey-" it's nice to see you smiling again, "-sorry, uh, feel like I just woke up from the weirdest dream. maybe humor me if I'm still a bit groggy."

That. Came out surprisingly convincing. They are maybe already giving the older brother a look of concern though. "... though, not to be rude, but speaking of sleep? you look like you haven't slept in days."

What-is-going-on-here? How-are-they-staying-calm? Can-they-both-break-the-fourth-wall?

“Why would I, a god, much less a god of death, have of need sleep?” The voice comes out dark and gravelly, and the older brother glances to Yule. “You know our role. We can’t take an hour more time than is given. We are essential to what keeps the balance going, and this time of year especially. With the veil as thin as it is between life and death, we should be hardening our resolve, not taking idle breaks.” His gaze softens. “..after brother, then perhaps we may talk more of it.”

He starts forward, only to pause and glance back. “Don’t forget our meeting with his magistrate, Magnus. When the sun hits land, and the moon rises, Yule.” With a nod, the older one walks off.

Yule smiles, staring after his brother. Despite what bitterness the soon to be made memories will give, these few moments make it all worth it. “Suppose it’s time we had a talk huh?”

*they quickly make their way to MV and use their mirror to try find Hate.*

Your mirror offers glimpses of a large open cave, streams of sunlight peering through the openings overhead. In the midst of it all, a flat rock sits surrounded by the most beautiful of flowers.

On the rock, sits two skeletons. The first one, remains awake, happily humming as they twist a flower between their hands; their vibrant red scarf acting as a pillow for the other one, who leans against their brethren fast asleep.

The one asleep.. definitely looks similar to Hate, but younger; less burdened, perhaps even peaceful in this moment as he sleeps the day away.

As the image begins to disperse, the world around you warps into that of a castle; and just down the hall, stands three people. The asker they seek, a chef, and the prince.
